    Love the warm earthy tones! I welcome this trend. Being in the real estate world, the grays & whites color pallet got really out played. I've always enjoyed bringing nature in and minimalist is something to aspire too! After all, do we really need a lot of "stuff" to create a balanced life? 🕊

    I’m on a serious binge of your channel. You speak to me in a way that I was taught in my late 20s by my interior designers and my talented mother . I’m 63 now moving to a new city and downsizing into a condo. Watching you is easing my stress and bringing me JOY ! TY!

    I'm all for the warm minimalism, with some contrasting details to make it more interesting.

      Me too. Even when minimalism first came out, it was clear that it needs to transcend / will eventually transcend into warm livable classy minimalism 😊

    Warm Neutrals look right up my alley. Sure would be nice to have free flowing cash to change up my home but that's not the case for most people. At least I already have a fairly neutral color scheme with an earthy pop here and there. Can't keep up with current trends so I already went with a more neutral theme. Maybe in my next life....I'll change things up.

    This was a really good video. Covered many aspects and seemed more informative than the big name home design TH-cam channels.

    I really love the 2024 colour trends. As a book designer, these will definitely filter into my work. For home living, I am embracing warm minimalism 😊
    I feel the furniture fluting trend will date quickly. That will be one I avoid.

    Loves this video. So agree with where the trends are heading - especially quiet luxury which for me mixes old and new.

    I liked almost everything in the video. Love reeding and fluting. I have pretty much a blank canvas in the home we just moved into except the kitchen. The cabinets and counters are high end, but not what I would have picked. Lots of orange undertones. Hubby said I could change them but they are in like new condition and I just can't justify that expense. I was happy to see blue nova paired with orange,.but I'm not sure I could pull it off in my kitchen. Too dark? I also love the warm minimalism and modern organic, so I'm not sure what to do with the other rooms if I went with the darker blue in the kitchen. Glad I'm not in a hurry. Keep up the good work, Liz! Love your style 😊

      Thank you so much! So happy you're enjoying the content😊 Not sure about Blue Nova in the kitchen. It depends on how much contrast and visual stimulation you like. Definitely sample it for a while before committing. Congratulations on your new home!

    • @cheri6063
      @cheri6063 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@BalanceRhythm Blue Nova would be a real stretch for me, but it does look very pretty with orange. I agree about the sample for sure! Any suggestions for orange undertoned cabinets and rust/orange/brown/grey/black granite? The floors throughout are wood with yellowish undertones.

      @@cheri6063you can try to sell or paint the cabinets

    • @BalanceRhythm
      @BalanceRhythm  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@cheri6063 Look closely at the cabinets, counter tops and floors to see if you can pick up on any color commonalities. That's always a great place to start. Without seeing all of the materials it's really hard to say but check these colors or some similar ones to see if they could work: Sherwin Williams - Kilim Beige and Softer Tan, Benjamin Moore - Putnam Ivory and Shaker Beige. I hope that helps at least a little!

    Hi Liz, thanks so much for your really excellent videos. They’re exactly the right length, have great graphics, information and ideas and I find your tone smooth and sophisticated.
    I’m moving cities in a few months and planning a completely different interior to the one I have now based on the architecture of my new apartment. It’s intimidating but your videos are providing me with so much inspiration.
    I love the warm minimalism palette for 2024 and am planning on incorporating it as my new colour scheme. My dilemma though, is what to do with my numerous large, red-based Persian carpets in my current apartment. My new apartment has a white base (walls, kitchen etc and a grey-brown herringbone pattern wooden floor.
    Many thanks, Brenda (South Africa).

    • @BalanceRhythm
      @BalanceRhythm  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Brenda! It's my pleasure! I'm so happy you're enjoying the videos and finding them helpful. Congratulations on your move and your new apartment! Your Persian carpets sound lovely and you can definitely incorporate them into a warm minimalist interior. Red is a warm and strong color so you can use them to anchor your spaces and then pick up on some of the more neutral tones in the patterns to tie them in with the more neutral elements of the style and of your apartment and maybe use a few red accents if you like the color. You'll find the photo that I used in the thumbnail in the video as well and I think this is a really good illustration of this.

    Hi I’m new here, 👋 I love soft white 😊 so I’m sticking with it and will be adding a little colour with different pieces, as I don’t like to go for colour on the walls which I would end up painting again, that’s my take on it and for course the cost, much cheaper to add colour in soft furnishings thanks Ann England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 x

    Thank you Liz. I really enjoyed this video! I'm an artist and was looking to see trends on framing/matting and so on for interior wall art. I don't create art based on trends, but the framing and matting is important to be current with. I love simple floater frames and that seems in style for a balanced simple look. Any thoughts on matting for framed pieces? It seems the matting is going smaller these days or none at all. Would love to know your thoughts.

    • @BalanceRhythm
      @BalanceRhythm  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Barbara! It's my pleasure. So happy you enjoyed it! I'm seeing a lot of variety in framing options from the simple floater frames you mentioned to various widths and shapes of matting. Gallery walls have been popular and I've seen some using small images in large mats, all uniform in size, that create kind of a large piece when all hung together. There seems to be a lot of variety out there so I would say it's best to tailor it to the particular piece or pieces of art and the overall look you're going for.

    Hi, love this video. Question, are the wooden Hans Weger Elbow Chair and/or Shell Chair and the Paul Hennigsen Artichoke Pendant Lamp out of style? They seem kinda organic and mid century? Or have I got it wrong?

    • @BalanceRhythm
      @BalanceRhythm  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So glad you like the video! While mid-century modern as a style isn't trending as much right now, those pieces and many others that originated in the mid-century are modern classics. You're right, they do have organic shapes and many are made of natural materials so they could be perfect to mix in to the warm and natural styles that are trending today.
