My man! I have the exact same Rhodes! 1977 too. I’ve had mine restored by a professional and it’s still not perfect. Love the sound. It owes me around $8000NZD ($3900GBP) but worth every cent! Great video 🎹

Just finished watching this with my hubby. Sick beat, my fave part is when that soft pad comes in. 👌🏻 Believe it or not, we had a Rhodes for a while while living in the province of Manitoba. He picked it up from someone in some teensy little town and probably didn't pay more than $800 CAD for it. It wasn't in the best shape (there was a cigarette burn on one of the keys) and I personally didn't know the value of what we had until much later. We moved and he sold it.
Personally I would LOVE a Wurlitzer electric piano, but a Rhodes wouldn't be too bad either, I suppose 😝

Lovely stuff... Can't beat a bit of Rhodes... I've owned many since the 80s and I always find it an inspiring instrument. Dialling in the tone is really important and you did a nice job here... I'd have put a little modulation/panning on it perhaps...

Subbed and Liked straight away when I saw this come up. The Rhodes was a must have goal that I had to achieve and get so I understand exactly how you feel about it. Great video Matt. Personally I use mainly hardware with mine so I play mine into a Boss RC505 and use the effects in the looper and then sample it into my MPC. Love the in the box workflow you use with Ableton. Please show more of the Rhodes

Hey man of course! I looked far and wide and struggled finding stuff online that was clear and concise, although there was some helpful videos here and there. I had help from somebody over FaceTime as well as often referring to the manual 😅 Rhodes recently set up production again in the UK with the launch of the MK8 so might be worth reaching out to them as well 🙌🏼
