Where can I learn how to play chords like this?
Anyone else notice that he wrote Fb maj7? An accidental enharmonic typo lmao
It’s cool but it’s around $1800 😂
Which is a little less than what I was expecting. I guessed it would be 2500. Still, it’s too pricey for me and my playing abilities.
2:36 “ the lick “ !!1!
man, that first chord pogression was sick!!!!!!!!
Sick and Lit. Can I listen to your songs on TH-cam or Spotify?
The dude is amazed by playing a dynamic instrument. Imagine his reaction if he one day play an actual.... well any instrument actually xD. Cringe shit people would do for sponsorship.
🔥🎹🔥👍👍
Your playing is so inspiring. Keep it up pal. I loved the jazzy vibe🔥
yes, we needed subtitles to this irish accent
Thanks for the Teletone Audio reference. I will give that a try. I have Spectrasonics Keyscape for my piano sounds and I have a Nord Piano 5 as well. Looking forward to studying your workflow and style. I love what you produce.
What drums are you using? Love it so much
Nord and against the background of Rhodes... share 🙏
that roll is amazing
Man that was tasty - I have a Nord Piano 5 and I need to make it sound like this
BEAUTIFUL!
Getting closer and closer to guitars, these key-y things
Hi. How old is your U1? Cheers
osmose or seaboard rise 2
seaboard, this is just a terrible copy, the glide is very uncomfortable respect the roli, the 5d gesture are more precise and easier to do, I'm a pianist and if I need a normal keyboard I just use my piano so, I don't think this is worth and also the price different is huge, here in UK is 1100 for roli and 1500 the osmose, right now there are some discount for the role and is only 879 even better
that's pretty sick
Thanks for tuning in 🙏🏼
yesterday I had a dream about playing a synth like this, today I wake up and find this video with nearly the exact vision of a keyboard I had in my dream, awesome
Love that!!
youtube algorithm💀
This is a great video, Matt. I'm considering getting a Reface CP to help with my songwriting hobby. Thanks for the great demo!
Sounds like the music to boomerang fu
You’re awesome , but since you know the chords already … Logic Pro can just add a studio bass player around those chords.
If you find yourself turning off the 3D movement of the Osmose keys, then you're using the wrong keyboard..
Great point! Just to clarify, I only turned off the pitch feature for a chord-heavy passage because the subtle detuning effect was a bit distracting in that context. I kept the vibrato and all the other unique Osmose features (like pressure sensitivity and side-to-side movement) active, so it was still fully 3D! It’s a super versatile keyboard, and being able to customize the settings to fit different musical moments is part of what makes it so special.
@@mattwildemusic When mine arrives, I have no intention of playing chords with it..
This is my favourite piece of gear in the whole world, i wish i had it 😢
3:08 the lick spotted
Lmao good catch - I also laughed when it happened
I’ve owned this instrument for about six months spending three hours a night customizing presets, and every once in a while I still get the eureka moment. Truly, an instrument of its time
Cool but you’re an actual fantastic piano player … you could make the cheapest midi controller sound just as good.
Great keyboard skills man, but tell me, why can’t 21st century synth/keys players ever seem to play without seat-dancing? 😂
Thanks! Lol need to work on it, my neck hurts.
You deserve more recognition, your playing is great and I can tell you put a lot of effort into the quality of your videos
Very good and helpful video . I just bought some rode m5 to record my upright. Nothing beats the real thing! I was wondering do you have an ableton stock alternative or free alternative for the uad preamp?
Ah I’m glad to hear! Nice pick with the M5, I used to used the NT5s 😃 I mean you could definitely use Ableton EQ, Saturation, and compression. Or you could check out Waves plugins - they have some hardware emulations like SSL, API, Neve etc I believe! Have fun making music 😃
Big up Matty, keep goin mate x
Its a synth clavichord!
Yes! I heard this from a friend after posting the video 😃 Have you had experience with the Clavichord and do you know how it works? Would love to try one
@mattwildemusic I've played a few, not many. It's a very simple mechanism, a key pivoting with something like a flat head screwdriver sticking out on the other end hitting a string. By varying how hard you hit it, you get a louder sound. By varying the pressure you get vibrato. I think they've been converted to electric as well with a piezoelectric s probably or something.
That's a pretty interesting looking keyboard :) If I remember correctly, Yamaha organs had the side-to-side movement triggering vibrato, but the entire upper keyboard moved and not individual notes.
It’s super fun to play! You might be right. Super interesting if so, will look into it! 😃
I love your videos! I always wonder, where do you get your drum loops?
Lots of places! But the one in this video is from Tamuz who records great quality loops 😃
And thanks for watching - much appreciated!
@@mattwildemusic Thank you!!
I always get so inspired to make music after watching your videos! 🙏
Would have been great if started on an A key
💓 perfect
O M G💜
Wow this is so beautiful👍
Thanks for watching!
Dude!!!!!! Do you want my wife to leave me? because that might just happen if I keep purchasing gear.
Realest comment on behalf of GAS patients 😂
Lmao of course not!! It is a fun instrument to play tho 😅🙏🏼
But hey, THIS ONE is definitely worth it
I think if you can play well you can play on anything 😊🎉 great video❤
It’s cool but still expensive 😅😀
For sure - great keyboard though!
@ that probably indeed I haven’t been able to try it out yet . Would be great if v2 had a led light like NI etc 😀
I expected it to be expensive, but like 650$ expensive, not 1800$ pricey! Wild!!!
The video aesthetic is crazy. How do you get that dreamy look? Is it a lens filter?
Thanks! Yeah I left on a 1/2 black pro mist filter by accident but looked cool 😀
What's wrong with the second S in Osmose?
I don't think it sounds like Breezin'. It sounds more like a track from H.H.'s "Mr. Hands" album, to me. I wish somebody would just send me that keyboard. What is the deal with all that 'key' at the top? It looks like a whole extra 1/3 of area. Is that how they facilitate the extra down motion for the swells?
Your playing reminds me so much of a Nujabes, sounds amazing!
