That was great. I have tried to do your first one but I was making the model thicker and it was messing up everything. I am trying to make one for vase mode. I am just learning and messing around.

Great video , when i try to repeat the process and rotate the edges in Z axis by 8.5 i dont get smoth and curva transitions like you. I get straight lines rotated and the connections are sharp instead of curve. Do you know what might be causing this?
