    i've had one of these for a few years now. they are awesome and versatile little units. it's my go to bbq when it's just me and the mrs, otherwise i'll use the one touch silver. One thing i will fault with this video is, do "not" put the lid on when the briquettes are still flaming, it's a great way to quickly ruin such a great little bbq. Wait for the briquettes/charcoal to become white hot before popping the lid on. another useful tip, pop some aluminium foil under the briquettes, it'll increase the lifespan of the bbq and make it much easier to clean too :)

    Lovely work boys. From an English born Aussie, I love me a good BBQ. Great to see it taking off in the motherland. It's the only way to cook!

    In North America, Australia and Germany, the plant is commonly called a zucchini (Listeni/zuːˈkiːni/; plural: zucchini or zucchinis), from Italian: zucchina[2] [d͡zukˈkiːno], plural: zucchine. In Scandinavia, however, the name squash is more commonly used than zucchini.
    The name courgette (French pronunciation: [kuʁ.ʒɛt]) is a French loan word and is commonly used in countries including the United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, the Netherlands and South Africa.

    I want one of these, and was about to get one, but someone gave me a Smokey Joe. I don't need both as I'd only use the smaller grill for a quick cook. really like the Smokey Joe but this looks cool and great for small cooks and hanging out.

    Great video, love the explanation of direct and indirect heat. What is the brand and model of tongs that you are using?

      Thank you! They are the Weber Q tongs, they have been discontinued now but we have other Weber tongs available on our website www.riversidegardencentre.co.uk/weber-bbq/weber-tools-accessories/weber-universal-tools

    Looks also that the way those courgette's are charred, the BBQ displays uneven heating/cooking?

    Hi, could you tell me how many briquettes you actually use on this bbq please?

    • @RiversideGarden1
      @RiversideGarden1  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +fred needle Hi Fred. It depends what you're cooking. For indirect, just a single layer on each side, leaving a gap underneath the food, for direct just a single layer right across the bottom should do. As always, we recommend you experiment and you'll soon get to know what works best.

    What kind of grates does that grill come with?

    • @rickyp4008
      @rickyp4008 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +aznstyle510 stainless steel, though if you look on ebay, you can find cast iron ones that are custom made for the go anywhere. i've got the stainless steel one and have used it for a few years, it's still going strong with no issues whatsoever.
