In this Man Bun Monthly episode, I take you through 10 different man bun variations I’ve been seeing and playing around with over the last year since I’ve been growing my hair out. Long haircut styles have become a little bit of an obsession for me and I just cannot wait to show you these.

Also, I see we've got similar beards. How do you manage that thick curly beard? Most people say that's the worst beard we could have and we'd better never let it grow X(.
Absolutely! It actually took me so long to curate all the man bun b-roll and images you have no idea, so the fact you have mentioned this just made it all worth it! thank you. I obviously for the dreadlock man bun and the lowered undercut I couldn't use an image of myself as I had never had those styles before but I tried haha.

I've been doing the side braid to deal with short wispy sides as my hair regrows. One side always comes out way nicer, a lot of it comes down to sectioning the hair properly

I am growing my short hair out to go for the undercut top man bun. Only 4 months along so far. Have back and both sides of my head fully tattooed so hopefully the nan bun accentuates the ink. Probably gave to go about 9 more months before my hair will be long enough. Love the link of the bun with an inked head.

M rocking first man bun ever, and I LOVE IT! I cannot imagine a day coming would ever consider cutting shirt again, ever! Lol . Great vid. Really enjoyed diff ideas. Still not at length would like but can put sides up now and that is fulfilling achievement. Mid growth was soo painful to bare thru. So impatient as well! :). I mostly wear high bun, and sometimes the “side pull back, but leave back down”(tot forget name u have for it, sry.). I really like the braiding ideas and will try soon along with low undercut with double braid top. Thx again. Look fwd to more vids.

Going for a lowered undercut manbun atm, tempted with that manbun/mullet hybrid, just to be a bit different.

I've been growing my hair for a year and all the criticism is about to make me tap out.
I have curly hair but I don't know how to treat the frizzyness, it just causes my hair to poof up like a clown.
Even when I moisturise my hair it bushes up.

I have been growing mine for 5 months now i guess and yeah, i can say, i am already on the awkward stage as they say. I like the high man bun hairstyle and just tried it today, but thank you for suggesting bobby hairpins that would fix a bit of mess on the lower backside..ha ha ha..it never crossed my mind..good stuff..😊
6 months in and almost all my sides can reach the back of my head. 1-3 more months and I’m good to go.

Hi Thomas! I currently have an undercut top knot, so really short on the sides. I really want to go for a full man bun, which means I'll have to grow everything out, but I'm kinda dreading the "awkward phase"... I can't see it looking good at all. Especially with my hair type - I have wavy hair, not as curly as yours but definitely not straight either. And it has a mind of its own :)
Any tips for growing the sides out? What will it look like when the hair on the side is like 5-10 cm long? Seems hella weird to me! Would it be better to just revert to a shorter, "normal" haircut and then grow everything out at the same time from there? Thanks!
We have the opposite journey lol, I got my sides short, not really short though and kept it long on the top. I'm still getting used to it but it's definitely better than keeping it growing wild.

My friend showed me a style that I immediately fell in love with. A really high messy bun that's a little lopsided. Effortless and fun lookin' style, but your hair has to be a bit longer.

No you don't have to. I didn't. The top of my hair was 10 inches when I started growing y undercut out from a 0 lol. You can start from where ever you like whenever you like :)

It says: "10 verschiedene Mann Brötchen Variationen - Männer lange Frisuren". If you translate this back to english it means: 10 different man bread variations - man lanky hairstyle! You should change it to: 10 verschiedene Männerdutt Variationen - Langhaarfrisuren für Männer. This would be correct :D
