I probably said this already, but for a 20-year-old girl who was never taught to tie her hair back into a ponytail, this was very helpful and I am grateful for that, so I thank you
I first started to wear my hair long back around 1983 - when I was 14 yrs old. I started out with hair barely past my ears, but within a couple years was getting perms, and another year, or so later - teasing my hair as BIG as guys could back in the BIG hair 80's. Some people would laugh at me, and stare, while others would think I was cool. (yes - I was in a band) By the beginning of the 90's I was tired of wearing it down, and teasing it, and let it go 'hippie' style, and in a ponytail that went half way down my back. Once again, some people would laugh at me, and stare, while others would think I was cool. Since then over the years, I've grown it long - very long - then cut it all off, and then grown it all back again! Many times I've repeated this, as I keep thinking that I'm getting too old for the hassle of it all, but then I miss it! I'll never change...I'll always do my own thing, and to hell with what people think. Life is short, do whatever the hell you want to do, as long as you're not hurting anyone. LONG HAIR ROCKS. ; )
Im like 6 months too late but doesn't really matter. Im currently 15 and my hairs about the length of the dudes in the vid. Many people pick on me and many say I look like a girl. Many girls are also jealous of how good my hair flows. My hair is so annoying but cant seem to part with it. As much as I get these urges to cut it I never have the balls to get it cut. Point is screw them haters, im too chicken to cut it off no matter what they say.

+ EEagleTM, But a Bun typically looks like a Bun, like those things Princess Leia has, only smaller (and one instead of two). For me though, I've always called it a Halved ponytail, as only half of the hair has been pulled through, the term Manbun to me is so annoying, because putting the word Man in front of something doesn't make in any less Feminine. But whatever it's called, let's call it a Manbun, no Man in history has ever pulled off a Manbun and looked good, it should not be worn has a hairstyle, but as a way to keep your hair of of the way while performing certain activities. Examples when it's necessary: 1. Swimming,a regular ponytail just sticks to your back, on when you turn your head your hair gets pulled, or worse you can't turn your head. 2. Running, depending on the length of your hair, a ponytail can swing all over the place, an most of the time your pulling it out of your mouth. 3. Showering, similar to swimming, but of course let it down to wash it (I recommend washing your hair last). 4. Any physical activity really, but I think I've covered this with Running and Swimming. But one thing I hate seeing, is a guy in a suit with a Manbun, it's not a good look (an I've never met a Women who's said that it's good).
I dont even know this cat, but He's a bad ass!!! Such a man's man making sure everyone knows it's not cute, its bad ass!!! LOL good vid bro!!! Made me laugh!!!
I always had a long hair but I never tie it .. when it gets so long and become annoying I just shave it off and start all over lol mines grow so fast tho .. this time I decided to not cut it and tie it up
Yeah I've noticed that men's long hair is better than women's and especially when guys use elastic hair bands/head bands. I've heard some gals complaining that most men look better than they do and even some brave guys paint their toenails for summer to complete their look and they look cool when they're with their gfs or wives.
Gosh darnit this is the 5th guy's long hair video and you're the Only one to explain this with the fingernails combing and smoothing, I'll love it either way, but it really is satisfying to not see the lumps I want to brush soooo badly. MANBUN NOT FOLDOVER
+
EEagleTM,
But a Bun typically looks like a Bun, like those things Princess Leia has, only smaller (and one instead of two).
Examples when it's necessary:
Damn, this is exactly what I needed! Tks!
I dont even know this cat, but He's a bad ass!!! Such a man's man making sure everyone knows it's not cute, its bad ass!!! LOL good vid bro!!! Made me laugh!!!
I always had a long hair but I never tie it .. when it gets so long and become annoying I just shave it off and start all over lol mines grow so fast tho .. this time I decided to not cut it and tie it up
Thanks for teaching my 10 year old how to do a pony!! He wouldn't listen to me, so thank you!
You got it!!
As a parent, you _obviously_ don't know _anything!_ /s
There will never be words to express how grateful I am for this video
Longhairs..........Women who are threatened by men with long hair are losers.
Nice job Gentlemen
"Vanita" or vanity....Get lost you serial feminist!
You suck as evidenced by your comment!
@@stefos6431 cringe
@@marciamakesmusic What is that vague comment of yours supposed to mean?
Yeah I've noticed that men's long hair is better than women's and especially when guys use elastic hair bands/head bands. I've heard some gals complaining that most men look better than they do and even some brave guys paint their toenails for summer to complete their look and they look cool when they're with their gfs or wives.
Fr long hair is kinda cute and its fun to braid their hair 😹
I need help. Idk if its too short. Its down past my shoulders a bit but everytime i put it in the tie, part of the hair escapes.
you look BRUTAL as fuck \m/
You sir a regarded as a saint amongst angels! Thank you
the mens tail is why i breathe. If I couldn't do it, my life would be over.
Really Helpfull , Thank you very much 🙏
I only do this when I’m alone eating. My hair looks like a horses’s tail lmao. Will have to grow it more

Gosh darnit this is the 5th guy's long hair video and you're the Only one to explain this with the fingernails combing and smoothing, I'll love it either way, but it really is satisfying to not see the lumps I want to brush soooo badly. Okaaaay so partly an excuse to play in y'alls hair *long haired dudes* but Fantastic above all!! 💜💚💙
..... they do make actual hairties you know, they come on a pack of 10 I think at Walgreens for 2.50 lol.
Billy Joe Riley And the thing on his right wrist wasn't a hair tie? Sorry he's not using a generic one and just made his own (like a badass)? I really don't know what weird stuff you're on.
Don't worry about it.now go away
Billy Joe Riley That is a hair tie...called a yoga tie. Leaves no creases if you decide to take your hair down.
oh ok
65 and retired my hair is at my shoulders. Needed your tips as my girls are grown up and out of house. Only Me. Thanks Chris.
You're a big guy.
This is good for women as well
Chris I just want to say I think your cute
And I just wanna say I love girls who use your instead of you're lol
Thanks mate
And it looks gangster lol smh
Being a man with long hair, I found this very informative. 10/10, would recommend.
Much appreciated.
holy shit that missing pixel is annoying..
Acer that's you bud.
Nah, it bugged me a good bit too. Helpful guide 100% regardless though.
My issue now is how to make sure the tail stays centered. After taking a photo of the back side of my head I noticed the tail sometimes became off-centered, leaning slightly towards the left or right side.
Thanks man. This is the first time I'd ever had long hair and it felt dumb to have to look it up but I was glad that I did. thanks.
It's awkward that first time. Happy we could help.
Thanks for the idea I hop it works
