I "reverse bled" my Heritage when I did a bar swap. Used a meat injector syringe and pushed fluid from the caliper to master cylinder. Avoided any possibility of air in the ABS module and I didn't have to go to the dealership. Zero issues and super fast to do.

Would love to get some more details on how that's done exactly. I was at the dealership today and they said I absolutely HAD to go to them due to the abs. I'm on a 22' LRS

Learn from me. When I replaced my vans grips, I just cut the old vans grips off the throttle tube, slathered it in glue and put the new grips on, without removing the throttle tube first. I’m dumb and the throttle tube I had was open on the end… I glued my tbw twist sensor together solid. Take the tube off, glue it, let dry then install.

In the name of editing I get keeping ur vids short, but dang ya’ll.. I need to talk about pulling wires back through the new bars.. after four months back order I finally got the cruise control switchgear for my 2022 M8th St. Bob.
I only wanted to pull wires once!
I immediately put the order through Thrashin. New 6.5” pullbacks with their mid rise bars.
The CNC work that incorporates my stock electronic gauge is spot on🤙
I “think” the new bars are a 4 inch rise with a 25° sweep. This combo put me right back to factory ride height with the bars settling back just a lil. Super comfortable, and super slick looking. Back to the wiring son.. there is a reason your local Harley dealer charges three hours labor for this shit. Started out by pulling the fuel tank to gain access to the wire harness connectors toward the neck of the frame. Labeled all the wires,, disconnected and pulled them out. This was the easy part boys and girls. Purchased a new wire puller roll from my local hardware store and off to the races i went.
For the life of me I could not de-pin the fac connectors! I watched every freaking video on TH-cam on how to do it. I’ll admit I’m a dumb ass! My parents should not breed. I think I threw every wrench into the middle of the street pulling those freaking wires through those new bars! I’d rather have given birth through my asshole. In the end was the juice worth the squeeze? Hell yes! Will I ever pull wire again? Dude, I’d rather nail my own nuts to the top of a stool then do that shit again

Finally after months (getting the extended brake line for my non ABS bike wss a nightmare) I picked up the bike with the new bars today. No more pressure on my backing leaning forward but I'll have to rotate the bars a few degrees back to get them in the perfect position.

Juan where did the get the sleeving for the wires? really gives a great finished look - i assume its weatherproof and heat resistant ? what size sleeving did you use? did you use split or solid ? if you use solid the sleeving has to be big enough to fix the connectors through but not sure what size it would need to be? i see amazon sells lot of sleeping but none of the listings state they are water/weather proof but many people use it on cars and bikes.

I'm 6ft 1. I recently road 600 miles on these 6.5 pullbacks and it was good, little sore in the lower back, still a little stretched when I lean back in my seat on the highway. I do gotta lean a bit forward for slow speed, bar turn stuff. I think the mid bend bar will help a bit more. Gonna try that first.

If you’re gonna do some work on your bike, please, invest in service manual. You’ll be glad you did.

Can you guys show how you put the throttle side grip on? With the throttle by wire sleeve

Use a less amount of glue, and sometimes it helps to put that grip on the throttle tube off the bike. Let it dry, and install the throttle tube. I’m sure there are plenty of videos on TH-cam already of how to install grips on throttle tube. We may have it in a video soon. Just wanted to help in the meantime 🤘🏻

I got the 6.5" risers with the mid bend and looking at this, should've went bigger.
