Excellent job! Nothing like the sound of axes working!
Thank you!
Nice work!
Nice work
Well done URBAN LUMBERJACK....
This is one application where a 36" handle would be an advantage.
For sure! I love hewing with my full size double bit!. There’s a video on here somewhere where I’m hewing with one.
@@urbanlumberjack I'll search for it. Thanks.
Impressive. Is this a cordwood challenge entry perhaps?
I heard they added hewing! I haven’t done the cordwood challenge but would like to soon
@@urbanlumberjackhewing is a yes...and you will qualify if you submit this footage....
You're supposed to do it barefoot, like the Japanese😊
Absolutely! Working up my confidence to try it out
I always enjoy your videos. But this one made me cringe.😂
Haha oh no. Worried about an axe to the shin? It’s a risk for sure.
@@urbanlumberjack that was definitely my concern. Hopefully it was just camera angle.
The camera angle is super deceptive! Most of the time my legs are far out of the way. Control is really good with a light axe, and after a few logs you get a really good feel for where the axe is going to go.
