The similarities aren't just in appearance either! In Megaman 11 Dr. Light does the same thing Thomas Edison was known for. Edison's business involved taking existing inventions and producing a better version. Like taking the incandescent light bulb and producing a version that burns long enough to be useful for everyday use, or a telegraph capable of sending 4 messages at the same time. In Megaman 11, Dr. Light takes Dr. Wily's double gear system and improves upon it, with Megaman being able to use both gears at once, and eventually (post end-game) the ability to use gears with no overheating.

Mega man 7 and 8 aren't really great to be honest cause both of those games are 32 bit
Imagine a dlc where you get to play as all of the robot masters from the previous games and each robot has there own story
That would be a massive undertaking for the devs. For any devs.
If any of the Robot Masters were to get that kind of treatment, it would most likely be the ones from MM1 (Dr. Light) and/or MM2 (Dr. Wily's original 8).
Still a cool idea, though. It would make for a good mini-RPG of sorts.

The ending in English just doesn't have the same feeling. In the Japanese version Megaman said "I'm back at home" in a very traditional Japanese way that they use when they arrive at home and Roll replies "Welcome back!" the meaning behind this is that finally after 10 long years we have our hero back.
This game looks awesome (I own all the other games)
I also hope that they will remake all the other Mega Man games (from 1-10, including Mega Man and Bass) with the same type of graphics, sounds, music and advanced game playing, just like this one. :)

They sort of did that with the original Mega Man, and X games on the PSP. They turned out pretty well, but didn't sell quite good enough to keep going with that unfortunately though.

I think the Bounce Ball is my favorite weapon in this game. It is a little inaccurate, but if you aim it right it can cause major damage and doesn’t use up a whole lot of ammo with each use
They should make a Megaman Power Battle 3 in this kind of 3D fashion, and also have a character select screen with galleries of characters including the Robot Masters for players to choose from. That would be badass

Maybe the acid is used to corrode Impact Man's metal chisels, while Block Man's blocks are made with an acid-resistant material to protect from, say, acid rain?
Perhaps Acid Man's acid could hurt any Robot Master. However, by how much depends on how strongly the acid reacts to other materials. My guess is that Impact Man simply reacts worse to this acid, as it corrodes him faster.

I've never noticed this but the little enemies in Blast Man's stage, the ones that Dive kick you, are a reference to Kamen Rider, They look like Shocker Grunts, and their high pitched little crys are similar the sounds the Shocker Grunts make when they're just on screen.

Mr. Coffee Guy that can’t happen Zero doesn’t wake up till way after X. Also X wasn’t completed in the classic timeline. He was in his pod till Doctor Cain found him and then started making Reploids based on him.
VortexboyXD Zero was teased in one of the arcade games, as he would eventually be used against Mega Man.
Zero was found as a random Maverick centuries later and was defeated by Sigma, which spread the original virus into Sigma.
Due to Zero’s existence, X was created, suggesting that Mega Man and the original cast died.
There must have been a drastic battle that happened between X and Zero (why else for all the armors and upgrades for X?), and both of their memories were wiped out (either by concussion, Zero, or by manually erasing it, X).
Worried about X’s system due to the Zero’s Virus, Dr. Light had made tests to make sure X is a good robot.
Centuries later, Dr. Cain found X, and Zero was found in an abandoned warehouse as the source of the mavericks.
I know the Mega Man lore isn't groundbreaking or anything, but Yellow Devil isn't exactly in every game.
Maybe using a thumbnail that doesn't spoil this stuff would help those who are waiting till they get their hands on it. The video itself gives plenty of time if you played the demo already.

He's already been in plenty of megaman games, as well as there being many variations of him. Not a big deal.
True, but I'd rather have the appearance of him being in the game in his original form as a surprise.
Trust me, seeing how the gear mechanic works on this game now, they had to probably change his attack pattern all together and give him some new moves. I can't necessarily say cuz I haven't seen the fight yet myself, but that's just my speculation. So as long as you haven't seen that, which hopefully you didn't, then I don't really think there's any problem showing him on the thumbnail.

I know thumbnails are kinda a pointless thing to rant about here but I'm still going to talk about them.
This one not only spoils the final boss in the center, but does it on the top right too. Not only is that pointless, but you've had the thumbnails down perfect before when putting the protagonist of said game there.
Edit: I know that Wily is always the final boss of classic Mega Man but here is the thing. I just simply don't want the kind of thumbnail I mentioned to return and since it happens, it's... concerning... to say the least. It's more of a general thing.

It would be a massive spoiler if the thumbnail of a Mega Man X8 boss video had Lumine in the center or if a Mega Man Zero 2 boss video had Elpizo in the center.

I'm glad that the mechanics are still as solid like the old days. They surely make this game worth to play with the upgrades, the curious power ups, the 3D-clean and fluid scenarios, and the Double Gear. Unlike Mighty n.9 which...had interesting power ups like the sniper one, but it ended up been the yoka-lalee (megamans spiritual successor) mixed with sonic 06. If you know what I mean
