Hey all me here for me when I walked into the room I was nervous laughing like “nonononononononono please no” then the orbs started flying and I started yelling “NOOOOOOO”
The devil robots must be Wily's greatest achievement outside Zero. It's an eye-like orb that controls a mass of liquid via electric impulses. Not only that, apparently it's good for a hundred years...unless Wily was alive to create Shadow Devil.
I like to think the Zero Virus (and the Virus Zone of X5) somewhat carried out the consciousness of Dr. Wily just like the Light Capsules had an AI that kinda emulated Dr. Light.
you know, when you think about it, this boss (Yellow and Shadow Devil, specifically) would be a nightmare in Megaman Zero, mainly because you cannot duck unless you dash. even ZX at least can let you duck with the regular character.

actually no the comics were based off of this story but this one came several years before the comics and does have some differences including most of the dialog and names

I've always wondered. What are those things made of? I mean, characters in this franchise usually have an unambiguously cybernetic appearance, so that you look at them and think "That's a robot. Someone built that out of metal. There's probably a microchip and programming inside." But then there's the Devils, which defy all logic by being about 90% weird, amorphous blobs whose default method of attacking is splitting themselves into a dozen pieces and moving across the stage piece by piece. They just clash with the series' general aesthetic.

I'll be honest...I only played through Mega Man (1) once in my lifetime. I have played 2, 3, 4 and 5 COUNTLESS times (seriously at least 200 times on 3 for sure). But for some several reasons, I just didn't like playing through the first game. Not only because you had no slide, the games difficulty was absurd, or the fact that it had weirdness like "points". Edit: OH MAN, Super Adventure Rockman!! That game would've been so fun...if it was in ENGLISH lol. I had a Japanese PS2 and all the re-released games for PS One. Unfortunately that game was entirely in Japanese so playing it was almost impossible (somehow knowing German fluently, doesn't help with being able to read Japanese LOL). It was fun for what I could understand out of it, ya know like a direction indicating a QTE situation haha. It's a real shame they never released it here to be honest. At least with the Mega Man 1-6 games, X3 and X4 for PS One they had some English in them. Also you didn't need to know what people were saying because they were linear. But man, oh man...this game. They could have made money so easily by releasing this in the states. Oh what could have been....
Even in Rockman X Dive, with all those cool weapons and skills of Forte Soul Rockman EXE (Bass Cross Megaman), it took me several attempts on this guy.

アクロバットスルーだったと思うけど。
ただ、かけだしハンターモードだと取れなかったよ。
何回挑戦しても取れるけど、慣れていない場合は、死にながらでもいいから、レーザーの位置をある程度覚えてからじゃないと長期戦になるよ。
少しでも躊躇するとやられるからね。

BOSSのゲートの前か、入れば取れたと思います。
ただ、その後にシャドーデビルが待機していると考えたらテンション下がるけどね。
個人的にはエックスの方が取りやすかったです。
ゼロだと間違えてラーニング技出てミスすることもあったから。
