Sorry, this is the rear seat back and it is where the seat pivots when you put it up/down. It is on the side of the seat towards the outside of the car, near where the seat back meets the seat cushion. For some reason I didn't get notified of you comment as I usually do, sorry for delayed reply.
I don't know right off, but I could give it a try tomorrow if you want. I think you can actually just push the seat back toward the outside of the car to release it then you don't have to try to get screwdriver in to release the clip. Let me know if you want me to give a try tomorrow.
@@JB_WI_Triumph please do. none of my trunk releases are working ,neither my key for trunk. I feel like the chair is only way in to access my battery, just can't get it down, THANKS ALOT BRO SUBBED
@@danielde6865 Bad news, I wasn't able to remove the seat back in the upright position. In fact, I could even remove it in the down position w/o a screwdriver, but I have heard that it can be done. You can almost get to the clip with the seat back up and the bench part of the seat out, but you really have to push the cushion on the back out of the way. I didn't actually take the clip out this way, but looking at it you might have a chance. I don't know that it will help you though as the latch that keeps the seat from folding down is not going to be happy if you try to shove the seat to the side. It looks like there is some room for it to slide, but not sure if enough. I think it is worth a shot though.

Hey can you do this without the seat being down? Don't have access to my trunk and battery is dead !

You can push the seats apart and use a rod/hook and pull that trunk release T for people that accidently get locked in trunk
