I didn't end up doing so, no - I just lived with it inactive for another year or so until I got a different car. Sorry!

@@tellezisaac Like I said, I didn't end up bypassing it, and also I don't have the car anymore to make a video with. It didn't turn out to be any sort of simple fix, and the only aftermarket kits I could find that would plug in and spoof it were for other vehicles - I didn't want to spend $100 on trial and error. When I made the video I assumed it'd be a simple fuse jump but I was mistaken.

I have a question I have a 2004 Saturn ion 4dr and was wondering what other Saturns are compatible, I need to change my front seats. At the junk yard there is a 2006 and a 2005 would they work?
As far as I know - and don't take my word for it - all Ions will be straight bolt-on replacements. Other Delta platform vehicles - Pontiac G5, Chevy Cobalt, Chevy HHR - may also be but I'm not sure, but with those models in hand you should be able to research them fine :)
I will say that other models won't have the same style of seat belt guide.

I just got a 2007 ion 2. What id that lever on the side of the drivers side seat. I cant find any info. Thanks. Joe
Not sure which lever you're talking about. I don't have any diagrams on me for the seat assembly, but looking for "seat assembly part numbers" might be a good place to start. Good luck!
@@BoterBug thanks it was the lever in your vid before removing drivers seat. The lever furthest left. Not the one that reclines the seat. Just asking cuz passenger size doesnt have one. Imma try and figure it out.
@@JOESMITH-bx8qv Oh, is it the lever that raises and lowers the seat? Driver's side has height adjustment, the passenger side does not.
@@BoterBug Thanks sounds like it makes sense. The handle barely moves up or down when I pull it. I never felt chair go up or down while pulling it. Ima check fuses tomorrow. Thanks fir the fast replys!

@@JOESMITH-bx8qv it's not a power adjustment, it's like a pump. Pull upward repeatedly to raise it, push down a bunch to lower it. Good luck!
Would I be able to put neon srt 4 seats in the ion coupe?
To the best of my knowledge, not with the stock brackets. You'd need an adapter. I recommend asking at the Ion Redline forums to be sure, they're the most likely to have tried it.
