  • Anand Mathulla, student at Harmony - The Music School, plays miniature classical era piece 'Écossaise in G WoO 23' by L.V. Beethoven.
The écossaise (French for 'Scottish') is a dance that might have originated in Scotland. It is usually in a major key and in a lively duple metre. Dance of this kid were composed by Beethoven, Schubert and others. Beethoven originally composed this piece for wind band; this piano reduction (arrangement) was made by his pupil Carl Czerny.
