Thanks for this video bro. I’m getting my drag slash tomorrow and this will be super helpful. It’s also my first drag car so I need all the info I can get.
This is an excellent video on setup and I know your trying to keep it basic but I wished you went over weight transfer and the importance and weighing a drag car. I just bought the toe gauge from A main its made by RPM. Great video and actually help me with one of my problems.
I'm starting new into drag racing I bought a used drag slash off of the race group I'm in , my question is do I put the slash back to stock setting so I can figure out the adjustments I make or run what the last person had and make adjustments off of the existing setup?
Was wondering if rear tire "Stagger' plays a role in drag racing setup? Stagger being one tire bigger in circumference than the other. I know in stockcar racing it's important. Enjoyed your video. Thanks.
Stagger is done in circle track to help cornering. If your uneven from side to side in drag racing it'll pull one direction or the other exactly what you DONT want in drag racing
1 million weight diff fluid, essentially locks the diff, or wax ear plugs. If it jumps after that, balance car front to back and corners. If it still jumps, preload the spring on the side it's jumping to.
Fantastic information Sir! I'm new to drag racing, but not new to the car rc hobby.

Rear stagger would be hard on the diff if it isn’t locked.

Raced circle track (dirt & pavement) from '79-04 you ain't tellin' me nothing....
Salut my friend super car super video subscribe subscribe..
With mine I made probably 7 to 10 passes and it’s fish tailing bad and not getting traction at all
Time to back that slipper off a bit, or start throwing some prep on those tires.
Did you buy some aftermarket slicks? Find a pair of reaction blue dots. That’s what works for me in south alabama. I can’t use prep in my sons class
