Man I love rc carpet oval pan car racing but 1/24 scale slot car racing is so awsome road course track and oval cuse you can use plastic model cars as the body and make them very detailed I go to the one in Mississippi has 10 lane oval and road course and scale quarter drag strip

Yeah no doubt you gotta love the RC's on nitro they are so much cooler but I had to order one of these trucks I just hope other bodys will fit on the thing
I use that for Rc drag racing. Rc cars can go 132 feet in 1.8sec going 70mph. If you put it to scale that is 700mph in 1320 feet. It is a crazy hobby with prizes as much as $25k. It is a growing Rc class and meeting new people is where the hobby is all about. And winning of course 👍
We raced the smaller HO scale slots back in the 60's & 70's then I got into RC stuff through my uncle who had planes and a dune buggy which influenced me into getting a 1/10th scale nitromethane centrifical clutch 2 speed Firebird which is in the basement somewhere. You guys just motivated me into digging it out for my son to mess with.
The slot car box is cool. When I was a kids there was a track/store not to far from the house. I’ve had a couple of them in my day. All that stuff is cool. The technology these days is amazing, I still to this day but Traxxas stuff. 35+ years later. Gotten back into model rockets recently. Inexpensive, you build it, fly it and hopefully get it back. Repeat. Nice job you guys.
I have all types of RC’s, but I’ve never owned a RC drag car, and you guys just inspired me to get one. Once I get it figured out, and tuned in we should have a money race!

The first with a trans brake was the top fuel funny cars from 2012....ish. I have one ive been messing with for about 3 years. I also built a no prep nova....you guys gotta put the high speed comp gears in it.....they come in the box!!! It makes it almost competitive.
That’s just awesome, my grandkids talked me into getting a Traxxas rustler and showed me which batteries your order, and it actually runs 70 miles an hour.
My son rebuilds RC’s. He works on the ones that run on some kind of racing fuel. It’s amazing how he puts one together out of small parts. He has some he’s selling. He always takes the cover off so it doesn’t get scratched up. Have fun, can’t wait to see it when yawl are done.
I saw AZN at Amain Hobbies when I was racing. I hope you guys do more RC content. I see AZN used to race the LOSI 1/10 stadium trucks. I used to race the Team Associated RC10GT Nitro Stadium truck years ago. Same class just different brand. The joy RC brings keeps us young.
I used to race 1/32 slot cars on a huge 4 lane Monte Carlo style track, my car is a "Trinity" brand car. we had a guy that when your car ended up in his lane, he would speed up and ram your car from behind. I fixed him good in one of the races. Since the chassis of my car was brass, I silver soldered two single edge razor blades to the rear and the next time he rammed my car from the rear, the blades cut his brushes off and ended his ramming for the night.
Man that is awesome!!! I have a Traxxas trx4 1979-80 Bronco I also have a 92 F150 body for it also. It's a crawler, trail, mud rider. All around a fun machine. 3s Lipo battery my run times are 3 to 4 hours on a 45 min charge. My top speed is low but I can run over anything. Haha Now I'm getting my 4yr old son into them... Maybe Christmas we will get him a drag farmtruck 🏎🚙 zoom zoom. Love you guys... I said from the beginning... You guys needed your own show. So happy to see yall now 😁😎🤘

I have a new bright rc truck from Walmart it I believe supposed to be a 97 regular cab short bed dodge ram 1500 and I used to play around with it in mud and snow but now it sounds horrible in high gear I think I've wounded it... and I had a radio shack tyco super turbo rc truck a metallic red and gold trimmed 86 Chevy Silverado I believe it was a longbed and it was actually a really fast truck and could pull wheelies... but I have never owned any of the Traxxas stuff can't afford it..I ended up trading off the super turbo rc truck before I wounded it like I did that dodge ram..
Those rc drag truck is fricking quick and what makes him so good is there is a stability program to keep it going straight when making a pass because usually when you get an RC that has too much power like a 6S or 8s they're so fast you can't keep them straight and they just Spin and break the tires loose instantly but with this having actual slicks in a transbrake and that stability program they run just about dead nuts straight

the RC drag stuff is pretty fun. they even have some crazy tire compounds people are using in the unlimited classes. i've seen people out there using pimp juice at meets before
I just restored a 1.3 nitro subaru wrx. converted to rear wheel only and home made angle kitted the steering. All parts made rather than bought to fix it up. It's a fine drift car and has only cost £20 (uk) nitro rc's can be real bargain fun 👍

I know that the electric cars are fast and easy to calibrate but I enjoy tuning Nitro. Something about them that's just fun as hell.

My 1/8 scale buggy is in the garage. Cannot find the fuel for it any more where I am.

Leaf blowers work great for surface prep.
For the steering trim for it to go straight is easy to set. Now you should try a lipo battery and it will go way faster. I have many traxxas cars.

I build custom RC cars for the fun of it, this was a pretty good little custom build! Looked killer, I loved the cloth in the gascap detail!
