Fun fact: Brackens always know which way you are looking. If you are looking a certain way, the Bracken will either wait for you to look away, or will find another way to get behind you. Basically what I'm saying is they're programmed to wait around corners,

"in natural spawns, only one nutcracker can come out" i know someone else has pointed this out but i've seen up to five in one room and even then i hear more can spawn

Bro has a beast of a pc to be able to handle a ton of brackens. 10 brackens makes my gane lag bad. There is so much calculations for the game to undergo for each bracken and how they move.
Is that pose on the thumbnail based on Where the Wild Things Are? I swear there's a page that looks like that somewhere in the book, either that or the thumbnail reminds me of something else... but I cant tell what
No it's not weird, I'm kinda the same, not as much with the bracken as the loot bugs tho I saw a short where a loot bug became like a pet which was adorable (link soon)
Are you playing in the public beta? Because if not, nutcrackers can only see if you move your camera. So you could've probably moved through the facility like a man with a broken neck and have been more fine.

you can get up to 10 nutcrackers in vanilla but they are super rare with rend having the highest by far at 23% spawn rate so getting to 10 would be crazy also i think it would be cool to try to play every moons with all entities at max spawn

You probably already know this but you can go to company and buy there and it doesn't use up a day for quota purposes. That way you can go in with flashlight :)

yes the Brackens can crawl. Infact, they always crawl. the only time they're not crawling is when they're spotted and retreating.
