Well if you’re comparing to rare JDM parts then yea inexpensive
When you stay/life in asia and you have cars like toyota, subaru, nissan etc is way cheaper for mod and service like change oil etc, but if you have a USA car like chevy, ford, etc its expensive at mods well the service too

Mickey! Highly recommend looking into getting the Steeda strut tower cutting tool. It expands the top hole of the strut tower to allow easy camber adjustment access since the hole with these mustangs are very small not allowing any...

Paint some of the Carbon.
for the wing, i would paint the top white and leave the bottom carbon. on the Gurnee paint the bottom white and leave the top carbon. it will look dope from the top and bottom yet different depending on where you see the car from. Steeda, Roush, Cervini and Saleen are my go to for mustang performance. also Full Tilt Boogie Racing and Maximum Motorsports💪
I love the fact that you’re focusing on the handling aspect and making it balanced first, no need to throw a blower or turbo on it as the first mod, upgrade all the other stuff before that👌🏼
Man I’m soo hyped for this project. I’ve wanted a newer mustang for awhile but can’t afford so I’ll live through this build. Mickey I absolutely love all the parts you ordered. You have great taste with all your builds in my opinion.
Leave the wing carbon, I'd partially paint the hood
Definitely ready to see this build come along. I have a 2018 gt base I’ve done a few mods to in my 1st year of ownership. This build will give me a lot more direction.
Love seeing the build! If you plan on tracking the car - one other thing you are going to want to upgrade is the differential case to the differential cooler case from the GT350. You can get this through Ford, but if you don't you will trigger warnings when you track it and ultimately it will cut power to protect the diff.
So refreshing to see someone that is a JDM master work on a mustang. I’ve had dreams of a JDM style Gen 4 Camaro since HS. No cash, no extra time so living through Mickey!
Traction and controll is how I started modding my DSM despite all the hate from my friends. As they all wanted more power and no one carried about handling. I wanted to build "time attack style" to be able to take my car on the track. Was never a big fan of just doing quarter mile
I can't wait for this build! I want to do pretty much the same thing with a convertible 6 speed GT. Put an aero roll bar in it as a throwback to the late 90's Saleen speedsters

Glad you are doing the digits dash upgrade. It is so hard to find a mustang with the digital cluster. Hopefully it will be the default cluster soon.
The mustang has been my favorite muscle car since a kid, I literally cant wait to see this build through part by part!
Looking forward to this build. This is your car, your build, so hopefully we're more accepting this time with the fluoro yellow touches and anything else you feel best to add. The NSX just had to be done right, but this Mustang is all yours!

Holy linguine!! Those tires are probably going to be the most noticeable difference. I say you film and do a test drive after installing each component.
I’m excited for this build. I definitely want to get a mustang at some point and these are all the mods I would do to start with.
This is the same car I am building; and the funny thing is that I am doing the same approach, first all the chassis stuff, and I think engine's is lacking in cooling, maybe lubrication, but not power/torque you have plenty for trackdays, no need for more in my opinion. Would be great to see a video with before and after suspension parts, a slalom or a goose course maybe to understand what do parts are actually doing to the S550 platform.

Cameron Alford has done the gauge cluster swap in his garage and got it to work beautifully, would high suggest taking a look at his channel and that video specifically! Love the content keep it up!
I've seen a few mustangs drag, mostly stock ones and that wheel hop is VERY noticeable its a good thing you guys will address it. Almost thought the car was going to fall apart in the back with how bad most of the mustangs where wheel hopping

You should paint the carbon fiber with white diagonal stripes!!! It would definitely be new and I think it would match the car. Great video! My s550 is jealous 😳

As far as the hood and the spoiler go, here's my 2 cents: I would paint most of the hood, but leave a stripe of carbon starting from where the vent is and going back. I would leave the spoiler carbon, but since it's in 2 pieces, I think it could also look cool to paint the main spoiler to match the car and leave the gurney flap carbon fiber.

I like carbon exposed against white I think it gives it more of a track feel, experiment with a race inspired livery. Make it a modern "Eleanor"... so many options.
can't wait to see those carbon fiber bits on the car. I've been flirting with the idea of putting those exact parts on my white 2020 5.0 for a few months and haven't pulled the trigger.

You should get the Anderson composite gt350 style fenders and put a little more track width in the front.
if you want to make it look more track oriented go with the RTR body kit it looks super sick

Comp Cams, ported cobra jet intake, longtube headers, mantic clutch, mgw shifter (better choice in my humble opinion), corsa sport/ or awe touring catback...
My vote is for painting the hood and spoiler. At least partially but the majority.
It's like you stalked my driveway to order all your parts. One thing different would be using Borla for your exhaust. I've got the Rays CR57 (5 spoke) in the exact color. What offfset did you go with ?

those Rays will look sharp as hell on her as for the carbon I would say toss them on and see if they grab you in natural carbon or a painted look would be better after all that's your personal ride doesn't matter what we would do to it is all yours. And Steeda is one dam good company to get ford parts from along with Shelby of America.

I like those tires, but how are they in the rain? I ended up getting Pilot Sport 4S tires for my WRX STI. Gone through 2 sets and they are great. I would switch to these Falken tires if they can handle in the rain.

Can you change the differential to make the gears alittle shorter. Would make you shift more = more fun on the track

So grateful for this video, Just sold my z34 2012 and now i want a V8, my sport is drift, so i will be using de s550 for that as well, and you just help me out with the parts and vendors, because i don't know about ford parts, all i now is JDM, but hey !!!! Is time for some american muscle 💪😁👍
