Many years ago we had a local guy making "finesse smallmouth" jigs from 3/16 up to about 3/8. Used a little zoom chunk or the small with two curly tails if you needed more action. Green pumpkin and pumpkin seed rocked. The only bad part was the light wite hooks but you could fish them on 10 or 12 no problem. And they caught largies just as well as the smallies they were intended for. Your logic and method is solid AF. After fishing those for so many years it was hard to get used to the much fewer bites on big jigs. Those little guys freakin WORK. So I only buy the tiniest jigs now unless I'm doing something specific.

6th Sense, you make some GREAT products! Some of your best, are the ones that come from a collaboration with your anglers (perhaps they all are, if so, excuse my ignorance!) but this is a fantastic looking downsized jig! Please make the Nathan Quince Micro pitching jig!!!!
After trying 1/2 oz jigs with little success I downsized to 3/8 as well. It made a big difference. BTW what are your thoughts on your Ghost trolling motor? I'm upgrading my trolling motor this winter and would like to stick with Lowrance because my electronics are Lowrance but a friend of mine said the Ghost was problematic. I don't believe it necessarily. thanks
I have better luck on a t-rigged craw. Hopefully these tips will help me catch more on a jig. I did have really good luck swimming a jig around the end of spring though.
