This is a cool demo. This is a surprisingly high quality capture, too. Was this demo specifically made for the slow passive-matrix LCD, though? I see some effects that seem like they're trying to exploit the ghosting for some extra detail, and the flashy cube would probably not look as weird on a DMG with a stock unmodded screen.
Its complicated question, yes the cube is a LOT better on the stock screen (my rendering/clearing screen trick is less/not noticeable). The axelay effect is better too, but it destroys the fire effect... So stock vs IPS ? dont know. But the graphics deserve the IPS I think.
Oh and the capture was complicated to create... The layout is realtime GB of Aceman, the audio is realtime output of my DMG, and the screen is from emulator. We will definitively try to get IPS screens.
