- There's always a right or a wrong play in blackjack. Players in casinos around the world tend to play these ones the wrong way, and it's costing them money in the long run. Take a look at the math and help perfect your blackjack game!

Calculations were for an eight-deck shoe, but the principles are applicable for six deck as well.
The note at the end to 'always double your elevens' does not apply to a Stand on Soft 17 game. - บันเทิง
Finally, a TH-cam blackjack video that actually provides the correct way to play !
During a bad run at the tables, I doubled a S19. The guy on 1st and the dealer told me that was a bad move I had the 3rd best hand. I told them they had the #1 bust card showing. I end up taking the dealers bust card and the dealer beat me. I glad to see the math behind that move and will keep doing it.
U only double a soft 19 against a dealers 6 otherwise stand
Gotta double down
Thanks, this really helps fine tuning my plays.
Very helpful to understand the logic behind the charts!
A dealer in Stateline told me to NEVER split 10s.
In S17 game, also stand on A7 vs dealer 2 (not double down)
Great video! Damn you are a good counter! How come you don’t post more videos? What area do you usually play around?
A7 vs a 2 is a stand. Vs 3-6 it’s a double. Vs a7 it’s a stand. Vs an 8 it’s a stand. Vs a 9 and 10 it’s a hit. Vs an A it’s a hit. Single deck it depends on whether the dealer hits or stands on soft 17. If they hit , you hit, if they stand you stand. Vs a 2 it’s a close play.
The math is literally on the screen and here you are still talking trash
Fun fact: you should double a soft 19 v. 3 during a true +5 or better, and against a 2 during a true +8 or better.
Standing on 16 vs a 7 gives up 11% over the player that hits. If you can’t surrender, standing on 16 vs an A gives up 16% over the player that hits.
I once doubled a soft 19 v. 6 during a true count of +1 or 2, and won that hand, and the guy to my left accused me of being "greedy". LMAO!!!
Soft 19 vs a 6 is a stand . Against a single deck it a double.
Wrong
@@rp3495 are you sure. According to Julian Braun who simulated millions of blackjack hands, it’s a stand against multiple decks.
9s vs 7 is obvious. You have 18, dealer probably have 17. Don’t mess up a hand that is already winning.
Basic Strategy says to STAND on ALL cards with a soft 19-20 and of course 21.
Good presentation! I did notice that doubling your soft 19 on a dealer 6 should only be done on tables where the dealer hits soft 17 rather than standing on soft 17.
Totally disagree on hitting on 16, see how many cards get you busted: 6, 7, 8,9,10, J,Q, K vs A, 2, 3, 4,5 , thats 5 vs 8. simple math. Are you crazy?
And it does not matter what you got when dealer bust
Dealer has a higher percentage of busting, the player doubles any time a hand they can make money based off of the math. The math never lies!!!@@tdinh7609
