Thankyou for being passionate about health and well-being, I agree we are responsible for our own health , I know Walking everyday can be one of the best things we can do ( I have a dog so it’s not an option but I love it and feel better) we can do little things to improve it, I’ve learnt so much from your you tube videos especially the ones about HRT and vitamin D and gut health, I think a lot of people including myself have been ignorant about what’s happening as we age, Thankyou for your research and interviews with experts, I have purchased with Liz loves a few items that I would not have known about, keep up the good work.🥰xx

Thanks Liz. I've tried to live by that mantra for a few decades too. But sometimes I'm feeling after 60 life beats you down. Trying to get help re the HRT proved fruitless. Speaking to 5 GPs. They're all reading from the same hymn sheet😢. Then trying to help one's disabled young adults like we used to when they were young with therapies for walking, talking etc just becomes overwhelming in the end. I'm trying to keep them healthy all the time. Wish we lived near the organic farms as I definitely don't like what I'm hearing about our foodstuffs coming from the supermarket now. Seems like the country's going backwards on some things. Despite that rant, you motivate me endlessly and I've been a follower since being on maternity leave in 1991.❤❤❤ Have a good day. K

We have a video on here about speaking to your GP about menopause and HRT, which you may find helpful. You may also want to look at the Balance app which has a symptom tracker, which you can then show to your doctor also. Sending you love! Thanks, Rachel (social media manager)

@@lizearlewellbeing thanks Rachel, but done all that and feel I've exhausted all avenues and me in the bargain. Living in this London Borough that I do I feel they're all just not educated enough and they don't want to get out of their comfort zone.

I’d go back to your doctor explain you want to try HRT and get blood test done to measure your hormone levels . I’ve being taking estrogen gel only as I have a mirena coil for year and half. only recently I felt my joints were sore. My doctor did a blood test to measure my Estrogen level and it came back it was low so I’ve to increase my dose . I’d tell your doctor if they won’t agree to this helping you. Then you’ll have to consider switching to another surgery practice .

@@janetmacgregor5821 the awful thing nowadays is you only speak over the phone. I find that really awful. Thanks for that idea. Much appreciated.

Yes I know it takes ages when phoning to get through to get appointments then it’s weeks before you get one and that’s just telephone appointment 😔 Even try get your doctor to meet you half way here and do a blood test to measure your hormone levels if not maybe look at diet foods rich in estrogen and progesterone hope you get on ok .

Happy Happy belated Birthday, you look sensational and thank you for all that you do, I've also benefited so much from your passion and knowledge, especially around the menopause. I too had a big birthday at the beginning of May when I turned 50, so pleased to have found you, my Birthday present to myself was a subscription to the magazine so that I can continue my better second half. Xxxx

Every good wish to you liz remember you're only a day older on your birthday not a year. Liz would you consider discussing sleep apnea at some stage it's so prevalent and so many people are unaware they may have it and it may help to discuss it. 🎉🎉
