    This is good info, HOWEVER... if you attempt to clean a firearm without checking to see if the weapon is CLEAR, you probably shouldn't have a firearm to begin with.

    • @CraigsGunChannel

      I agree that you should make it a practice to ALWAYS check a firearms status before handling. Even if you "know" its not loaded.

    Every time I disassemble mine and hear that striker slam forward, I suspected it had enough force to discharge a round. Thanks for confirming this. Like you mentioned, many guns can discharge during the disassembly process.I have personally known two people who have shot a hole through their hand disassembling Glocks.

    • @jacobwilbert1018
      @jacobwilbert1018 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you do its because they just flat out shot themselves because thats not how glocks work bud. A glock slide does not lift up n off its frame it slides off the front because its on rails. If a glock is cocked the striker is hooked on the back of the cruciform keeping it from sliding forward on the rails and being disassembled.
      You're either outta line or your mind is playing tricks on you

    If you have to disassemble a Tec9 with a round in the chamber you keep the safety on and remove the rear cap which releases the spring pressure. Its tight and under load but can be done with a screw driver or coin until close to the end then by hand to hold it when it releases but its the safest way in this kind of case if for some reason you couldn't clear the gun first.

ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE GETTING HURT... How could a gun fire around with out a trigger pull?? I was planning on purchasing this gun. But now
    not so much !.. I don't know if only the Sig Sauer p320 has this

      Parece que su pistola tiene un problema con el fiador que no engancha correctamente al percutor. Puede ser solo un fiador débil o un resorte de gatillo o podría ser que las piezas estén dañadas. No debe considerarse seguro y debe ser revisado por un armero.

      Quality control is a big issue. Some run great, a lot don’t. I have an Interdynamic KG99 and two Tec 9s. The KG99, seems to run pretty good, one Tec-9 runs “okay” and the other jams a couple times per mag. I like them but there are much better guns for self defense. They are just part of my collection.

    • @CraigsGunChannel
      @CraigsGunChannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are so many potential items it is hard to tell without seeing it. If it is clear of all ammunition try pulling the bolt back then while holding it back try the trigger. If it can be pulled back then it sounds like the striker or bolt is getting hung up on the sear or the sear may be damaged. It is essentially a flat sheet metal part and can be damaged. It is also possible a foreign object, empty shell case etc may have gotten caught up in the fire control assembly. Just be sure it is empty and the chamber is clear before working on it.
