Great job showing and telling, learning I am about them new cub cadet. Keep up the good work cutting that grass and showing and telling well see ya next time see ya bye.
Hey buddy, thanks for posting this review. 2 year later what do you think? How was the grass clumping, did you get it to drive straight? Has everything held up on it?
Got the ZT1 42 75hours cutting 15 yards week. I'm normally cutting Fescue at 3-3.25. Does great for what I need.6ft also very comfortable for me. I also sat on JD and Toro. Nice video
I have enjoyed mowing with it. I will say i have a few littel kinks to work out but I love the dial for height. 3.5 for my lawn has been the sweet spot
I just bought my ZT2 50 used w/ 71 hours. There was initial confusion about the 2 transmission reservoirs. I went by the dealer and they told me I never need to fill or touch them, only to lookout if the fill was dark then would need serviceI now wonder where the fuel filter is. I'm not breaking it out for another few weeks which is when we move into the new house. A lot of great questions and tips here so it helps...
Adjust your forward stops first for straight tracking. Then, loosen your two bolts on each control lever and see how much play there is for adjustment. Shove your control handles into a full shop towel roll at the neutral position to line them up and hold them there while you retighten the bolts. You can get them perfectly in alignment with these tips.
Been looking at these for afortability. Been hearing alot about bad deck vibration. What's your opinion now that you had it all summer? Also we have a semi stedp, not too steep hill, do you mow hills with it.
I have not noticed a deck vibration at all. I would assume if that is happening it may be off balance. I only mow our ditch which isnt too bad. They do say only rolling hills. So it if is too steep i could see the tires slipping.
Have you carried this in your enclosed trailer? i have a 6x12 and it looks like the only way to load and unload would be to lift the discharge flap up?
Check your tire pressure!! Mine was real bouncy too...checked tire pressure....was WAAAY Higher than recommended....let the extra out...rode Much smoother and better traction...
Where are the serviceable reservoirs? That, along with the upgraded transmission, was the major upgrade from the ZT1. I bought a new ZT2 50" last year and the reservoirs are behind the seat on the left and right sides of the engine. Still a great mower and I love mine.

The fuel filter is pretty visible near the back of the motor.

I believe the overall width with the chute out is 57”. So should fit.
Dont they offer a fender kit ?
Not sure.

I just bought a ZT2 50 and it has reservoirs. The 54” didn’t have them. Dealer said the hydro gear 2800 was moving towards no reservoirs
