just another video capturing the ordinary moments in my life as an international student in canada.
i started the week with an internship interview. with the goodness of God, I was able to secure an internship place. in this video, i'll be sharing the things i did as a culinary student intern in a plant-based restaurant. lots of chopping, bus and train rides and finding my way in a new place, passing through tunnels (hate), prayer walks and i also learned how to use a coffee machine for the first time!

international students in ontario are eligible for riipen advance ontario. you'll get paid. depends if your school is on the eligible list though.
Unfortunately, ours isn’t a paid one. 😞

No offense but I thought that these types of jobs don’t require u to actually have experience? Like i feel that its one of those jobs that high schoolers or something do as a summer job etc, But since this is an internship, did u go to culinary school or something?

Hi, yeah I took up culinary management nutrition. I opted to do my internship at a vegan restaurant and learn how the whole thing operates and learn both front and back of house as I would like to hopefully open my own one someday. 🙏🏽
