    Anna, I'm glad you finally met somebody that actually puts the Katsu Bento box from sushi on Bloor on the affordable eats for Toronto. It has been one of my favourites for well over 20 years. And as for Man in the fire for pizza it's been in my neighbourhood now for 15 years and has been by far one of my favourite pizza places. It has the right atmosphere and a good selection of beer to go with it. I would suggest another small place down on Camden Street which is just off of Spadina south of Richmond. The name of the place is Avenue open kitchen, and they do by far the most affordable, however, extremely thick smoked meat sandwiches on light rye. It's priced around $10 but I would also suggest that you bring a bottle of spicy mustard because it will not be found within the business. Good luck!

    You got me craving pizza. I should try that one if I ever pass by that area. But my favorite spot in Toronto is Marchello's at St Clair West and Dufferin. A great little Italian restsraunt in general, but their pizza is, for me, something special. Very thin crust, old style clay oven, and very simple.

    Ana! Great video and love the narrative storytelling. My own personal fave is Yummy House (east end). It's a small local Chinese mom and pop shop that serves authentic Cantonese Chinese food. My personal favourite though is their popcorn chicken that's super crunchy and has a hint of 5 spice powder. It's super affordable. I think the snack size is under $4 and the large is under $8 and the size is so generous. I can have the snack size with my bubble tea for under $10.

    Oh wow! Ginger Wasabi Roll at Sushi On Bloor! 2019, it was $7.50, I think. Pretty sure at 11.25 it's probably still worth it.
    Haven't been back since.

    Your story made me tear up cus I know I'll probably have similar experience as yours 🥲 I'm gonna move to Toronto by myself in three weeks' time, 20 hours away from everyone and everything I know. It's my biggest dream to move there and I've sacrificed so much for the past 10 years just to make it happen. I was so excited when I finally got the ITA and subsequently PR but now as it's closer and closer I'm just dreading it every single day. Idk what's wrong with me

    • @anakhodus

      believe me everything is absolutely fine with you! i went thru exact same thing. it’s always very exciting when you planning the move & trying to ‘get there’ thru all the visa issues, but once all is settled and ready to go it becomes scary. i think i was crying for a week before leaving for the first time😂
      every change in life is frightening, especially a big one like this! live thru these emotions because it’s priceless, so much growth! and you gonna do just great! best of luck & big hug💛

    You seem to have LOST DIRECTION with this video - (I haven't seen part 1). This video was named CHEAP eats, NOT favourite eats of Toronto. As you said, you can NEVER say a $24.00 pizza is cheap! It may be good, it may even hold memories for you - but when you only list 3 places on your video (& this is the 3rd one). This is NOT a "cheap eats" video.
    Even your 1st (of only 3) places, was NOT cheap! It may have been good (& it did look it.) It may be healthy. It may have even been a good & a cheap price FOR a bento box, it STILL does not make that a "cheap eat" - regardless of what comfort it gives you to eat there, (which I am glad it does.) It looks good & healthy & a proper size for a bento box - but it is STILL NOT cheap food!
    You either truly do NOT understand what "cheap" food means or you forgot what your subject matter was. Either way I am very disappointed that I clicked on your video which does NOT live up to the subject listed in your title. Please try to make your subject titles & content match in future so that people who come for a specific topic are not disappointed or upset by what you provide.

      @@anakhodus You seem to be very much in love with yourself & can only listen to comments that would tell you how great you are, even when you have messed up. You can never improve as a person if you don't listen to any criticisms & learn. You are not perfect (far from it), but you pretend that you are by your response. Obviously you are not a person interested in becoming better. It is a shame that you have entered the workforce in my country with your attitude. We could do with a lot better.

    Здравствуйте, не жалеете о переезде в Монреаль? Я тоже подумываю переезжать. Как вам в целом город, на сколько проблематично с языком, как со стоимостью жизни в Монреале проще стало по сравнению с Торонто?

    • @anakhodus
      @anakhodus  ปีที่แล้ว

      о переезде мы точно не жалеем, но здесь однозначно есть вещи, к которым надо привыкнуть) мы живем относительно в англоговорящем районе, но если уезжать чуть дальше от города/центра, то без французского будет тяжеловато. относительно стоимости жизни - это сильно зависит от каждого человека индивидуально, но нужно учитывать что в Квебеке выше налоги и если сравнивать стоимость жизни тут и в Торонто, то надо сначала понимать сколько ваш доход будет в квебеке.

    wow...$34 before taxes for that pizza. It looks big but man... I have a teenage son that eats like his stomach is the blackhole. He'll definitely have no problem devouring majority of that pizza by himself. And my pocket will feel the pinch. 🥲
