THIS is the kind of videos you should be posting! I appreciate this video! This is the kind of videos that can help me feel more confident (informative and semi instructional) and willing to press that start button more confidently! Thank you!

When engraving a round/circular design on the yeti, what changes do you make to the file to ensure the finished product still looks circular?

What wattage laser did you use on the Yeti? What speed 100mm/s? Since it is a stainless steel bottle does speed and wattage matter?

Hi Paul! Jason used a 100-watt machine and believes the speed and power were at the 5 and half minute mark and was set at 10 speed and 65 power. The wattage of the machine does not matter, but power can vary from machine to machine.

What was the real time it took too etch the mug once you push the start button on the laser for this mug? Also what is the max DPI with this software?

This was done a while back so we're not sure on the exact time, although a 3”x4” logo or saying normally takes around 3 minutes. We recommend using 300 dpi for vector images, you can go up as high as you’d like although with certain substrates its better to stay around the 300-600 DPI range.
