So, for me it wasn't working by doing just what he shows on the video, but I figured it out how to make it work. After following all steps, I just needed to go to the "Device" tab on Armoury Crate, select the motherboard and wait for the section to load. Then go to the "Addressable Headers" tab and click on "Rescan" button. After the rescan finish, go back to the "aura sync" section, and now the Memory should be there. Hope this could help somebody else
Thank you for this video. I got my RAM synched to the motherboard with only a small amount of fuss by following exactly per your guide. It was quite quick and efficient.
Doing this in 2024 the iCue app doesn't have the option for enabling full software control but it's on by default now. Also my issue was not knowing to keep iCue open while rescanning like that dude said in the pinned comment
just after finishing all steps i had to sub man thank you very much! The software has changed a bit and there is no more icue legacy devices software but everything worked perfectly fine !!!!

The version on iCue you showed to download isn’t available anymore, just an updated version 4 so I downloaded that one and the plug in. Armoury Crate recognized there was a DRAM plugin but even with rescanning on adressable devices, the ram still isn’t showing in aura devices. Any ideas? Because of the new version of iCue, the settings menu looks nothing like that anymore so no way to choose the options you did.

If it still doesn't work go into armoury create and check for updates. There is a small subsection that needed an update to lighting effects. Once I updated that I saw the RAM flash and then it was in my list of devices. Thank you for the tutorial!
Your a hero, had a random audio issue and had to do the windows keep your file reset, and lost rgb control. Was only removing the icue the plug-in and armory and not the extras and it wouldn’t show the rgb In armory after reinstalling in the correct order. Deleting all the extra junk did it. Thanks a ton for the tutorial.

Thank you, worked great until I powered down the system for the night. Next day wasnt synched. Following the steps I got them synched but...now need/want to synch to Razer Chroma.
After trying this way , I coul add the ram in aura sync , but still the color of ram doesn't follow the mode of armoury crator , I'd appreciate if you could hep me , tnanks
Found a fix for those still having issues after following the steps. Go to Armoury Crate under 'settings' tab and 'update centre' header, press 'update all' and go back to 'Aura Sync' the ram appeared after that.
Thanks man!!! For me it worked without Deinstall Armory Create. It worked after i enabled full software control, enable SDK and disable Plug-Ins. after a Restart of the PC the RAM was shown in Armoury Create.
Once you have followed the tutorial till 4:20, you have to go to the settings tab in armoury crate and click "update all". In my case once of the services wasn't up to date / installed even after just finishing installing the software. I also tried other options like rescanning devices in the device tab. Going to the motherboard and rescanning for adressible headers (I was desperate). But only after updating all it showed up.
If you tried everything and it still doesn't work then hear me out... may this help you The order of installation doesn't matter. Have Armoury crate, icue, then plugin installed. (All latest versions, no old please) Open icue first and keep it open. Open AC now and click rescan. You'll see a notification in icue to approve the request to control the ram. Tap on approve and you're done. The notification doesn't makes any sound or popup. It's just appears in icue while AC scans and so this is what I was missing. Btw I accepted the fact that it'll not sync for me but by this way I managed to do it. If you have any q u can ask me.. thanks

i have been trying for hours to get this to work, and i finally found my problem!!!! in icue the latest version not the legacy version if i went to iCUE settings, then down to Software and Games a program i use for my desktop background called WALLPAPER ENGINE for some reason had exclusive access and was completely blocking it from working with aura sync, after blocking wallpaper engine it worked instantly.
im trying this in 2023 june with mobo x470, im failed soo many times. what im doing wrong: im disabled icue in startup and not active the icue during the last step. my sugestion is, when you already do all the steps in video and ready to instal "armoury crate". make sure icue is turn on and running before instal "armoury crate". if you miss this step and fail do it again from start. tips: use the newest icue is working well (not the legacy v3)

My iCUE software stopped detecting my RGB RAM a few months ago & Corsair has been completely unable to assist me with this. We're now at the point where the rep handling my ticked responds oncer per week. They even sent me replacement modules but to no avail.
I have a problem with Armory that in the updating section the mobo device cannot be intall since an error 1612 hinders its installation. what can i do?
as of today using the normal iCue version worked cool as well as the Armoury Crate software (that include the old aura sync). for the plug-in filtering by corsair icue made the trick while searching for "aura" or "plug in" wasn't working
My memory doesn't even appear in the legacy icue version. I had to install the newer version, and aura crate the full package version, for it to work on a very unstable way.
Hey bud, thanks for the video. I've been trying for days to get my Vengeance RT lights to sync with aura and then gave up thinking they were not compatible as Corsair doesn't mention this very model anywhere. Then I saw a logo on the box saying that it is. Now, this model is from 2022 and so are all other hardware and software in my PC. Do you know why I still have to install the legacy version of ICue to work? Corsair doesn't mention anything about the synchronisation to require the legacy software.
Please disregard my above comment. It worked by following your steps minus the legacy software. Uninstalling everything, then installing the latest version of iCUE, Aura plugin and Armory Crate in that order while restarting after installing each worked a treat.
For me it was working even without showing up as single device. But after a few days it was just showing rainbow colors again. The reason was that there was an update avalible.
Hello Amir, first of all I like your Video and I liked it a lot and to be fair your Guide worked well till now. I have Corsair RGB Ram and an Asus ROG Strix B550F Gaming MB. Since a new Update iCUE takes over Control Aura Sync and I can't control the Lightning anymore. If I disable iCUE or uninstall it, the Corsair Ram just light up randomly. Can you please look after this and make an other Guide?
after installind these all is working but when restart pc aura sync is not loading my last light configs, or are just static, animations are not working, every time need to run armoury crate and to reload the lights to make them work correctly, without installing ICUE all is fine
hi, i bought the vengeance rgb pro ddr4 2c16 today. i intalled them, bought light up, i installed the icue at first cause i dont really know. and i change some color to see then i when out, after my computer came back from sleep mode, one of them RGB dont turn on anymore. i tried so many things. my computer still say 32Go tho... and ICUE only see one now.

You should be able to download that exact version from Corsair. Just uninstall the newer version first

Is there a function to turn off the memory backlight when you go into sleep mode? Aura turns off the entire motherboard except the memory?
