I caught the Coal train in Huntly on the 3rd April going to Rotowaro and coming back from then heading back to Mission Bush on the Wednesday with the same combo of DL's .
@@nndorconnetnz Thank you. I've never see3n steel in "cradles" like that before (nor had I read the full description!). Australian steel trains (videos) look different and I've never seen this sort of thing in South Africa, just the coils. Thanks. I'm a bit of a fan of both Oz and NZ railways (as well as South Africa's, where I live).

Solid steel billets. They come in square beams. Some of them will end up at Pacific steel roller mill in Otahuhu.
