i have a 1998 honda civic dx coupe. slow as a turtle but the deep tone of the engine and it being manual makes up for it bc its so light and when i added an aftermarket intake and strut bar its just so fun to drive

So dope, I've been wanting to boost my civic after realizing it's not big power I want to chase but mostly enough power to keep up with modern traffic. I also have a d16y7 with upgraded clutch, hydraulics and a normal gasket top end rebuild on it. How's it held up long-term so far? Somewhat concerned of blowing up with this being my daily, my Subaru being broke and winter coming I don't wanna take out the nice nice car
I only had it turbo'd for a month or two and then sold it as many people wanted it. My buddy saw it on the road a few months ago so its still running now as far as i know! I have a turbo ranger build coming up now that I want to test how reliable it will with a turbo. But back to the civic, ran great when I had it!

The exhaust aint pretty but it WORKS!! ...except for that rear section falling off

Use a rising rate fuel pressure regulator, 1:1 ratio, every lb of boost it goes up 1psi in fuel pressure as well to keep it evened out

The right esc probably but turbo u need a map tune for more then 5psi

6:17 so does 16:1 AFR at 8PSI lol

What fuel pump are you using
Your car still alive?
Your gauge keeps leaning out when you let off the throttle when holding gas. Your gonna blow it if it keeps staying 20 + lean
It jumped to 20 when I'd let off the gas fully. Cruising it was normally too rich!
It’s normal to lean out when you let off the throttle because of fuel cut.
