For anything over like 350 do people usually buy a brand new short block? I got 170k on my b series and I don’t think it could handle 500hp but I have the stuff to make it 500. Would it be safe on that stock block? After it goes to a machine shop and gets hardened and stuff??

Anything over 350 usually requires rods piston setup. And dual valve springs

No mods at all just the hood exit, I love the sounds it makes! So much fun cruising around and hitting boost with all the sounds it makes
