Im not lying when I say I cried when I heard the first games sound track in RDR2. The RDR series is better then GTA and I played every GTA since GTA VC.

Rob TZ it’s the perfect strategy that would be right inline with their online model. RD1 has Mexico and Zombies. Not creating an HD Remaster as RD2 Dlc would be a huge failure.
@@herobrineslayer1585 They have the half map ready, they make Mexico and it's done. All they need to do is shoot the scenes again. And you can't play the original on PS4 or PC, so there's that as well.
They already have all the creative work done as well as engine and assets. You just need manpower to put all the pieces together and maybe throw in some mechanics from RDR2 to modernize it and boom you have a full price game that will sell for a new console generation and it was never on PC.

2010 Red Dead Redemption still looks better than most games coming out today. I personally prefer the color palette from the first game when I'm in the desert. The second game had better color in the mountains and forests. Red Dead Redemption 2 ultimately just had a much bigger budget and more time to create therefore looking much more realistic.

I tried the game yesterday with Streaming Mode. I couldn't run it. And almost laughed at how small the map was. I know it's not small but still. It would be cool to have both the RDR2 map and RDR1 map. But you can't really access the RDR2 Map until maybe the Epilogue. Seeing an older version of the Heartlands.
I love how at 3:38 you put Arthur standing directly above John. That shot is perfect. John’s looking up at the man who gave everything so John could have the life Arthur dreamed of. The way the sun goes through the window makes Arthur’s figure faint, almost like he’s a ghost. Bravo sir, stellar job

Once a Game is out for PC, Modders can do anything with it. Kinda the matter why i did not want the game to be released for pc. I knew Modders would tear it apart.
This game needs more than a remaster, it needs a full-on overhaul with a mix of RDR2 mechanics (hunting, horses etc) and all of the old stuff (eg buying property, liars dice)
Actually I'd rather stick to the original one. Each of the 2 games has its unique feel that the other one can't replace. Play RDR1 again and you'll know what I'm saying. During sunny day, especially at the end of morning in RDR1, the lighting is so naturally bright and you can feel the hot heat, and you get a feeling you're out in the wild west where everybody trying hard to survive. RDR2 is beautiful, much more pretty, but it lacks that feeling and feels more civilized than wild.
The thing is, even though it doesn’t seem like they have to do much to make this work... They do. Keep in mind that the RDR1 mechanics are almost 10 years old. You can’t just take those and click a button to make them more high rez. However, they do have the original map remastered with the second game. All they would have to do is take the original characters and completely recreate them to the standards of the second game. Keep in mind they would also have to complete Mexico (which means a map expansion). And also more than likely they would have to redo the motion capture for every scene in the first game so it doesn’t look outdated and janky. What I’m saying is, they are most likely able to do a remaster in a good period of time, but it’s not going to be from a push of a button.

I played both Red Dead Redemptions. I finished RDR2, and if the PS4 (excluding the PS Now service) had backwards compatibility, I'd buy RDR1 and replay it. Plus my internet is so bad when you have so many devices connected to it, that PS Now wouldn't even work. I still have the old RDR map on my wall.
Rockstar should do it, they havent found a way to crack RDR2 and people are still buying it, they get tired of waiting, do the same with RDR1 Remaster i am sure people who didnt get an Xbox or PS3 to play it back in the day are willing to pay for it.

@@rainbowstarvenus they said the exact same thing 10 years ago when when pc players were begging them to port it it's not a bad thing to ask for a port but they were literally harassing people over it then rockstar straight up said it wasn't possible and they shut up and then tried to boycott rockstar in 2018 because rdr2 didn't have a pc port at launch pc players say console players are pathetic but they literally have to beg and harass people because a game isn't on their platform i wish all games were released on all platforms but that's just not how it works.
It honestly seems like such a simple thing for Rockstar to do, theyve got the world, theyve got most of the character models all theyd need to do is program the missions, make an older model for Bill and Javier and remake Mexico
