  • Broad Gauge Metallurgy Line (LHS) is the most westernpoint broad gauge 5 feet freight railway line in Europe. It is almost 400 km long, located in Poland and connecting Ukraininan border with Silesia region to transport iron ore and other freight goods.
Between 28.02 and 10.03.2022 LHS hosted passenger trains with refugees from Ukraine after Putin's agression.
Each train carried from 1000 to 1500 people onboard. Line is covenient humanitarian corridor between Lviv and southern part of Poland.
Clip shows few of the trains seen on the trail. Caught first meeting ever of two passenger trains on this line on the siding near Wolbrom, first of the longest (20 passenger cars) trains, as well as first stop at small town of Sedziszow.
