How To Set Up 301 Redirects in Shopify (No App Required)

In this quick Shopify tutorial, I show you how to set up 301 redirects in Shopify.
This is an update to a video I posted about a year ago but the new method doesn't require an app and they can be set up with just a few clicks.

Thanks... So, if the website is 301 redirected from without www to with www and one page is 404, how can the redirection here be fixed? Because the system first reaches the www with 301 and then 404 and there is an unnecessary chain url redirection. This problem was not solved by shopfy!

I'm not sure there is much you can do as you can't go in and redirect the none www page directly to the www page you want and two redirects, while not ideal isn't bad.

I guess there is also no way to mark a URL as 410 in shopfy?

Not as far as I know, not sure why you would want to rather than just redirecting it?

@@EcommerceGold Google doesn't like chain redirects. To optimize the crawl budget, sometimes it is much more reasonable to make some pages completely 410.
