Really helpful, clear and informative videos. Thank you! Your videos helped me create a new page with excluding collections, making nested menus and change the navigation type on the main menu. Very much appreciated!
Hi Paul. Love the video. It was very helpful. Do you have a video on how to create a new Menu/Navigation Page? Simply put, a page with a list of links for additional navigation within my shop? My store has too many pages to be listed within a dropdown menu. Appreciate your help!
Hi, thank you and I'm glad it was helpful. This video might be helpful as it can be adapted for links to all types of pages th-cam.com/video/91dbxKlVhaI/w-d-xo.html
this is helpful, what would be more helpful is if Shopify would use the terms, Category and Sub Category, or Sub-Categories like every other platform. Menu items and collections? It just doesn't make logical sense to me I guess. Coming from big commerce this is overly complicated. Thank you for the clarification.
Hello! Thanks for your tutorial, very helpful, except I'm hitting a road block while following you... Underneath 'Header' I don't have the option to change the menu that gets displayed (the one you show at 6:44 in the tutorial) Infact, I cant find how embed any menu in my header. Can you please help? Or anyone reading this, could you please help? Many thanks in advance!
Hi, that sounds like something to do with your theme, which one are you using? I've just checked with a couple of different themes and the option is there.
Hi is there any way to make the titles of the nested menus a page in themselves? For example, having a blog tab requires having an 'all blogs' menu item to display all blog topics, I would rathe the menu title which for example 'blog' to be the button to all blogs, great video by the way, thankyou!
Hi and thank you, the only way you can do that is if you have a mega menu, it won't work with the other menu types as the title is used to open the nested option.
Hi Paul, Thanks for the tutorial! Im having issues with my menu's still! I don't seem to be able to change my menu so I have the titles and listed dropdowns, only the three lines in the top lefthand corner that has to be clicked on before it pops out. How do I change this so its listed horizontally across the top? Im using the Refresh theme. Cheers!
Hi Paul, Great Videos thanks! I really like the idea of EKM or Shopwired as a platform, but which is best for integrating with the myriad of UK and international dropship suppliers in terms of automated product info uploads, inventory management and automated order forwarding/ processing? or are they all integrateable via paid for API's and if so which automated management API's, free or paid for, would you recommend?
Took a little bit of time to find the answer to this but you need to add some code to add the hover functionality, I've done a written tutorial that should be helpful www.ecommerce-gold.com/shopify-hover-menu/
Clear and concise, Thank you Paul
No problem and glad it was helpful

Any suggestion on how to change mega menu's width please? thank you!
It depends on the theme you are using as different themes have different coding for the mega menus.

To be honest, quite a few platforms use collections instead of categories but it would be nice if they used the same terminology
Ok thank you so much is threre a way to add a margen beetween menu's?
No problem, which menu's are you referring to?
@@EcommerceGold the main menu I reached out to shopify support and they said I need to code it could you do A tutorial?
It does require modifying the code and it depends on the theme and the type of menu you are using, which is why I wouldn't be able to do a tutorial.

@@EcommerceGold Thanks for the reply! That was really quick! Is it possible to have menu titles in a mega menu that do not go to any pages?
No problem, yea just put a # in the link box when adding an item to the menu. It will look clickable in your menu but won't go anywhere when clicked.

Hi, no problem and I hope it was helpful.
Go to Customize → Header and change the desktop menu type from Drawer to dropdown or mega menu.

Hi, I replied to this comment on the EKM video.
What about if we want the menu to be hoverable not clickable on the desktop? Is this depend on the theme ?

I do all of this but it never shows up on my page at all
I'm not sure why it doesn't show. Are you saving it and making sure the right menu is set to display on your storefront?
