I think it's probably fair to say Chaser has advantage, but let's not forget that the Chaser has to answer every question correctly. If the Chaser gets a question wrong and the players also get that question wrong, the Chaser has still lost time with that question.

This Monday, big Mark got owned by a 4 person team! Statistically he's the Chaser with the most Final Chase losses, although none of the Chasers are undefeated, not even Darragh Ennis.
I like Shaun, but I have to say the holes in his general knowledge are very evident. In modern games I’m sure he loses more than wins, and any score 17+ he seems to be in real trouble

Realstically yes. Though theoretically he could just rattle off words at random and by good luck get them all right. The australian chasers have done this in the past. Plus people at home might want to play along with the questions so might as well run the game to the end.
