That first one was insane. He really muddled up a few easy ones. You could see all hope drained from her eyes when she made the face at like 25-30 sec left.
I love how over the years the chasers have got really supportive. Like the clapping when they get a good push back. Or the fact that when contestants take the lower offer (even this minus) they’re just like “yeah, that’s totally the right decision.” Then they’ll point out how they probably would’ve won if the person who took the minus wasn’t there.
1st one oh my God she was so calm! Seriously she kept her composure and didn’t panic and that is what got her the win! When you panic you don’t think before you speak
My father 93 got bless his soul loved the Chase, he was in hospital for 9 weeks during covid with no visitors and eventually when I was allowed to visit him, he said crying guess who I've missed, thinking he would say me or one of his other 5😊 kids, I started naming them, he replied "no Bradley Walsh, I've had no TV and I love the Chase.😊
Also if he doesn’t annunciate it well for contestants they will miss it, and he can’t assume they can hear him speak fast. Chasers are more of a known quantity so he can be faster for them, and as stated before they can be pushed back so they have more working against them. I think he tries to be fast for all parties but maybe there’s pressure to give the chasers the questions at a rate that’ll suit their goal
Bradley Walsh was made for this show and it was made for him. What a format that show is. Would've been wonderful to see the entire chase for each of them but it's a minor quibble, nice video mate.
@LordBacon235 Bradley was very nearly a professional footballer, I think, and he probably looks after himself now too, we could be waiting a while, he'll probably outlive me and I'm at least 15 years younger. I'm convinced I'll die at 73 as retribution for being annoyed by Sandi Toksvig when I was a kid. But if that means 10 plus more years of the Chase then I'm all for it. (I like Sandi now, I didn't know what I was thinking back then.)
Tbh since the shows evolved they’re all really nice and supportive now. In the early days The governess brought the whole head mistress ridiculing schtick. But now they compliment the teams, praise them for taking the lower offers and genuinely look pleased when the teams get push backs and win.
The 2nd Chase and the last Chase are BY FAR the two most epic finishes in the history after 2010's Angela and Neil 28 steps win, absolutely unbelievable how Larry out of ALL those pushback opportunities he got just the last one which was the most important... and Jenny, HOW ON EARTH did she NOT KNOW Tel Aviv International Airport aka Israel's main airport is named after Ben Gurion... I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!!!!! I cannot believe it, wow, I am so happy for the contestants who won the big money, incredible stuff, so well deserved! Phew, the high euphoria in the final 30 seconds of those two chases hahaha.
@@alwaysOPEN4business Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport is one of the most popular airports in the middle east, because of the mass tourism that travels to or via there almost every day. I was very surprised she didn't know the answer to that question
Look for the whole Judith chase. I think she got 7/8 pushbacks. Jenny knew every time she didn’t know Judith would. In her 2 mins o think she scored 18 to Jenny’s 17.
I would love to go on the chase I love taking quizzes and testing myself and I would make sure to answer quick and accurately in the final chase if I made it through as I know that you can’t afford to be slow on the answers as your against the clock the higher the score you can get the harder it makes it for the chaser from how many episodes I’ve watched - I would say my strengths are music, films and tv, premier league football but not great on politics and history. Would also make sure not to pick the highest amount offered by the chaser as you need to be pretty much perfect to make it through 😉
What does it mean when the host said executed after the final chase, cause I really don't get it. Like for example what does it mean when Bradley said "4 pushbacks 3 executed". I know what pushbacks means, that's when the contestant answers the question the chaser got wrong and pushed the chaser back 1 step, but I'm confused what it means when a question is executed? Can someone explain it to me?
It’s the number of pushbacks the players successfully executed. For example, if Brad said “8 attempts to pushback, 3 executed”, it means that the team were able to push the chaser back 3 times out of 8
@@gameshowclips Oh so to be sure, executed means the team was able to push back the chaser successfully when the chaser gets a question wrong and the team gets it right, whereas pushbacks means how many chances or attempts they can push the chaser back when the chaser gets a question wrong right?
I’ve been on a quiz show and let me tell you, they’ve decided long before you show up to the studio if you’re going to win or not. Apart from wanting to know my hobbies, education, and work background, why else would they have asked my favourite books, music, films, and tv shows? If they want you to win, they’ll cater the questions for you.
Strange how the chasers get the second to last question wrong. The show is unashamedly fixed. The chasers answer questions incorrectly so the contestants win.
Wouldn't surprise me if when it is tight, they throw more obscure questions out. Like, a question about slang for a chase winning is a recipe to keep the contestant in it
They do throw answers at times for sure. I did see the Beast chase down a 20+ total without pausing and the incorrect answers seemed genuine but they totally throw a few ones they know to amp the tension up
Deffo said 32. Also, Mark would have someone monitoring his mike to hear the answers clearly - he would have to because the program can't allow mispronunciations, and when they're rushing through answers it's hard to hear over all the other noise.

Some of the older ones the rate at which Bradley asks the chaser the questions is unreal, much faster than when he’s asking the contestants.

@@teammax325 how 19:43. The video isn’t that long.
