Andrew didn't get many right but he also didn't blow any or get in Pauls way. He gave Paul the time to riddle some of them out, so overall he actually did well as a team player. He knew his place in the team and worked with Paul rather than against him. Well played by both of them.
@popajajkula2930 Not sure. I read something about Bradley's question pace, but it might be neither just in series 2 it was hard to gauge what was good from a small sample size.
Shows how much the show has changed in the first chase "Will 24 be enough?". If Contestants get 24 now, the Chaser is in hot water and really needs to be on their game.
@@Jenel_79 I think that’s more down to the show being more ‘rigid’ in its earlier years, Brad would stick to the script he was given. Nowadays they have more fun with what they’re saying and will know that a 20+ target should produce a good final.
Here's the corrections!: For Series 5, there was another £50,000 win from a team of 2 players against The Governess which was in episode 11! For Series 6, there was another £60,000 win from a solo player named Larry against The Beast which was in episode 45! I couldn't believe you didn't include that one because that was one of the memorable solo player wins! For Series 7, the highest win in that series was actually £80,000 from a team of 2 players against The Dark Destroyer which was in episode 116! For Series 9, the highest win in that series was actually £90,000 from a team of 3 players against The Dark Destroyer which was in episode 142! I'm just curious on why you included the Lazarus final against The Vixen with a prize pot of £4,000! The title says "The Highest Wins Ever On The Chase..." That final was entertaining to watch, but it wasn't even close to be part of the complication! For Series 10, the highest win in that series was actually £75,000 from a team of 3 players against The Dark Destroyer which was in episode 158! For Series 14, the highest win in that series was actually £90,000 from a team of 3 players against The Dark Destroyer which was in episode 126!
I’m surprised about Series 9, choosing the Lazarus final. There was a fantastic £75,000 win against The Sinnerman, also from that series, when a team of three played pretty much the perfect game and it was still right down to the wire.
47:49 Anne was sort of correct, because in rugby union, the wingers do take up wide defensive positions when their team isn't in possession. They occupy the same sort of area of the pitch as fullbacks in football. Unfortunately she had to say "right" back..Lomu played on the left wing for most of his short but illustrious career.
@@qasimhussain1678 It depends how old the Series is. Since it's Series 2, it was probably uploaded in like 2006, and the max quality for that time was 480p. Hope this helps.
@@jeremyryan9890it seems like there was some special thing where the guy standing outside (who mustve lost earlier) was allowed to play again for some reason? And because they won, his cash was added back in - buffing up the prize significantly id guess

Andrew raises his hand to signal a pass so that they both don't wait blankly... smart!
It's incredibly smart, considering Paul got the majority of the answers!
This is done pretty frequently in the German version
Honestly even looking at each other during the final chase in my mind seemed to be against the rules but who know
If they don't get penalized for a wrong answer, I never understood why they just don't guess something instead of waiting for all that time to pass...
What time?

And it looked like he contributed to most of the pushbacks
@@ThePrince1835 yeah maybe the oasis one even or the the take that question
I love how casual they are about 24 steps in series 2. Hardly see that for a team of 4 now 😂
Does that mean people are getting dumber or questions are getting harder

Bradley is much more even on his pace now, and questions also have a more even length.
Happy 15th anniversary to The Chase

That one lady 70k and 20 questions shesh she should be a chaser
Was thinking the same
Absolutely. One of the best solo wins in the history of The Chase. She absolutely slayed The Vixen.

If that was ever scored now the Chaser auto loses.

True, plus the chaser wouldn’t get 27.

How did darragh get offered to become a chaser but paul didnt? That man was incredible
He probably applied, or wanted to. Paul is, respectfully of course, an older gentleman. He probably has better things to be doing
Which Contestant’s from the past do you think should become chaser’s?

The Build Up for the Final Chase is the most underrated part of the show

Paul and Anne were phenomenal.
