This is an awesome song! It's so often the case that their B-sides are better than their A-sides and this is another great example.

Many contenders for this title but for me THE most underrated Oasis song. I always think that had Noel released this as a single that it would of been a massive hit and gone down as an Oasis classic instead of sadly obscurity.

@felina7849 @felina7849 it's my own subjective opinion (from ten years ago, not one I'm still as convinced by) that YGTHOAS is as good, or even better, than some of the singles released on both SOTSOG and Heathen Chemistry. I certainly prefer it to Stop Crying Your Heart Out for instance, which was a fairly successful Oasis single.
As for its popularity, this video has 99k views after 12 years. That hardly puts it up in the upper reaches of Oasis songs on TH-cam now, does it? I don't think the majority of people, even people who consider themselves to be Oasis fans, have even heard of it. That tends to happen if you're a B-side tucked away on the 4th single from Heathen Chemistry. Now, I aren't sad enough to have conducted any study into this. Maybe you could put that together or, better yet, engage what little cognitive agility you have to see what is blatantly obvious to anyone with a degree of functioning grey matter.

They could quite easily done another b side album. I got some ruff acoustic tunes on here inspired by oasis. Put in Ross Heathorn merry go round or Ross Heathorn flattery. Theres 12 in all. Peace people they just raw no fx but vibe is there.

Someone explain to me what a B - side means ?
7 inch singles where released with A sides and B sides. The A side is the song that is most popular with radio play and the charts. The B side is the less known song and is less played by the radio and the charts. However, sometimes the B side can just be as good as the A side. Hence the example of this brilliant B side to Songbird, which was the A side.

Back in the day when you had to buy music people went out and bought singles to hear the newest song or hit…. Imagine having a CD or Vinyl with one song.. that sucks so they added what’s commonly called B-sides which are normally junkie songs not good enough for albums.
Oasis has probably the best B-side catolog of all time. I don’t think it can be touched at this point even if you aren’t fond of them.
Most bands put genuinely bad songs or songs they could care less about on b-sides but Noel just put whatever he was writing at the time (when the record company asked for a b-side for the new single he wrote songs knowing they’d be b-sides which is boggling to me)
I think Noel would be a tad richer if he played his cards (songs) better lol

2000's oasis are just not close to 90s oasis , after bonehead left this band was in a kind of a fall .
