When I attended high school, I loved this song, so I wrote "If I had a gun, I’d shoot a hole into the sun and love would burn this city down for you" on my crush’s sitting spot. I did it when the classroom was empty and nobody could see me. He never discovered I was the one who wrote it for him. And probably, if he had discovered, nothing would have happened because I clearly knew he didn’t like me. He told my friend that he found me ugly. But now, some years later, this memory (linked to this amazing song) still touches me deeply. And I still think about him. He was such a good person after all. The only one in my classroom who was kind to me and didn’t bully me. I was so lonely and sad, marginalized by my peers, but he was different. Even if he didn’t find me attractive on a physical level, he was kind, thats why I will never forget you,Lorenzo. I hope you didn’t change because you have a golden heart. Couldn't agree more re the romatic soul behind the tough exterior image..in many ways, the guy reminds me alot of John Lennon - incredibly great songwriter / good musician and NEVER, EVER dull in an interview...a very interesting and very personable individual..quickly becoming one of my favorites along with The Beatles / Dylan and Clapton.

I think Noel and Liam both have romantic and kind souls. They’ve just been abused their entire life. Verbally and physically growing up. Then over stimulated by success which many can abuse you for money and infringe on your privacy. Then oasis broke and it’s team Liam v. Noel. There just guys who simultaneously caught a huge break and also can’t catch a moment of peace. Just my thoughts.
I don't care that Noel doesn't have a billion views. We have, and love, true great music. No need to coerse others into loving Noelly G. We do, and I think that's all that matters. Long live Noel. Cheers.
