    I used your flame arrestor, crank case vent idea and engine cone filter but did go with a name brand exhaust delete. 10 hours on mods and zero issue thanks! Also feel a difference in pick up and top speed for cheap.

    Your not concerned about sucking water into your supercharger? That filter is pretty low.

    Is the crank filter becoming very oily? I've seen alot of oil in my catch can. Probably wouldn't be good to have it all over the engine

    • @ZF5foraWhiteGuy
      @ZF5foraWhiteGuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Funny you say that, i actually changed to a vented catch can setup because of all the oily residue. It's the same issue with the riva kits as well. I might make a video ony current setup as well. It solved all the residue problems and the engine bay stays clean now

    Hey, so is the size of the supercharger inlet the same size as the piping on a high output, i think its 4 inches, just wondering trying too do the same thing but with a ho ski

    Just hypothetically if you do a ribbon delete with a Riva racing intake want the same thing happened far is a fire

    • @evostigti
      @evostigti 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You might want to replace the cheap intake with an k&n. I was just looking at difference between k&n and cheap eBay filter and there is a big difference. th-cam.com/video/gWF3a-2I-mI/w-d-xo.html

    • @ZF5foraWhiteGuy
      @ZF5foraWhiteGuy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@evostigti from my research k&n filters are generally better performance due to having larger orifices to pass more air and therefore more particles than most stock paper type filters... the riva "filters" are barely even that... they are just fine wire mesh screens that cant even be oiled... realistically, there isnt a lot of dirt and dust out on the water like you would have riding an atv offroad so the orifice size isnt as critical on these... however i will not argue that k&n makes the best quality aftermarket filters, but ive ran cheap ebay filters on a lot of things with decent results for the price in my experience. Personal preference is all. My goal was to save money through DIY. If i was a rich dude id just buy all the riva parts and have a way more built ski than i do haha.

    • @evostigti
      @evostigti 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Right I hear you. I just got the same filter as yours but I’m wondering if it’s better to put no filter in it, instead of a filter ?

    Does the breather increases the risk of explosion?

    • @travistucker7317
      @travistucker7317 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No it's just letting out nasty mostly burnt oily air, as opposed to dumping it back in your intake

    what are the performance rewards... MPH, or HP ?

    • @ZF5foraWhiteGuy
      @ZF5foraWhiteGuy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Can't tell you for certain as the rpm limiter is the main factor in MPH. This is more or less a supporting mod for future upgrades. I can't imagine it would be any different than doing a "cold air intake" on a car. Which basically means not much at all if that's all you're doing.

    Until You get water in there suck it into charger boom bang you know what happens ...

    • @ZF5foraWhiteGuy
      @ZF5foraWhiteGuy  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There's a possibility of water entering any intake. Its on you to make that decision of where you want the entrance to be.
