I’m having trouble sleeping tonight due to anxiety and so I went up and followed this video. I can’t believe how powerful this was. There was this release inside me, I felt this intense grief and started crying, I’m not really sure why, but your presence in this video made me feel really safe through it. Thank you 🙏

I really appreciate you making and posting all these videos. I have cptsd, and I'm trying to start doing somatic practices on top of my talk therapy to manage my symptoms, and this channel is really, super helpful

Hannah, this was beautiful. So grateful for this. I felt that I had anger and frustration? I don't know what it exactly is but it's in my heart and it flows upwards. And I felt it flow away as I slowly was able to breathe into the belly. It was hard at first, think it took me more than 15 minutes to start breathing in my belly. But I just kept going, honoring my body of what it is capable of and she did it! Again, thank you for this.

I yawned so much doing this. Is that normal?

Thank you for these videos! I'm struggling to find a comfortable seat that feels both stable and that keeps my spine long: I find that I keep clutching my belly in order to be tall, but therefore can't quite breathe fluidly as the muscles are literally fighting back in order to hold the posture. I've tried with sitting on a pillow: it somehow makes it worse. The only thing that feels softer makes me slouch a lot, which isn't great... Would you have any ideas of what I could try? Thanks a lot in advance, and again for all the beautiful work you're generously offering us ❤

Hi Hannah, in the exhale can we exhale with our mouth or does it have to be through the nose? I really struggled with breathing out through my nose. Would it be ok to be breathe out through our mouth? Or is it a practice to breathe out through our nose?

no matter what kind of breathing i do, as long as i have to sit up the only thing i can think about is that my shoulders are not far enough back and im training myself to breathe in wrong posture, what should i do?

Woah. That was tough. It was like I couldn’t draw enough breath in? It was extremely hard to take in a deep breath. Is this because I’m use to breathing in a survival state?

Sometimes this happens! You might try taking slower exhales and making them longer than your inhales.
