- Hey Everyone! Welcome to my July Reading Journal. I feel like I'm finally getting out of my reading slump. ACOMAF will do that! ;) I really like the way this setup turned out and I can't wait to start coloring in all of the butterflies! I usually have an audio, ebook and treebook going at once. Means no matter where I am I always have something to read
I love that! Treebook? Is that another word for physical book? I've never heard that before.

I really like the first spread, I didn’t think it was too busy at all, the sparkles and little lines worked well with it and added a nice touch, I may have to be a Copycat 😂 and try adding some sparkles to my spreads and see how it looks
You’ll have to let me know if you become as addicted as I am…once you start it’s hard to stop! 🤣
I use a lot of paper and scrapbook style spreads in my reading journal as well and I loooove a chunky journal. "Well loved" is a great descriptor for it

Interesting. It got me thinking what hobby i have that i can also keep a journal of. :D Though i don’t read a lot, i also like to jot down quotes from movies, tv shows, or songs on my phone. Yeah, sometimes i get the part where it’s kinda bothersome to drop what you’re reading/watching just to take note of the quote. I screenshot them first at times XD
I have definitely thought about keeping a TV/Movie journal because honestly as much as I love reading, TV is my biggest weakness. 😂 I just have no idea what I would put in it. I've also thought of doing a plant journal because I have a whole lot of plants!! But again, filling it up would be a struggle once I get past the initial setup.
Well when you put it into a “well loved book” I’m all in! I am going to use the same layout for self care - mani, pedi, facials and hair appointments.

You seem to feel that it’s too busy for your normal layouts or that it’s over the top or in someway excessive but it isn’t it’s well-balanced it’s pretty it’s Damien feminine and those are not over the top things I really enjoy this and I’m a firm believer that you can have a style in a preference but in order to grow you have to stretch outside of your comfort zone so I enjoy this
This is a beautiful setup! :D I love that your setup is more an overview and not one where you go into detail about every book you read. It inspired me to make my own simple one! So far it's only two pages per month but I might go wild and add a couple more with more decorations. Love the boxes for the books read, I have already stolen that idea haha

This is super cute 🥰 well done… I do have a question though do you like moth’s or you just have the paper and just use them? Anyway this to say a little fun fact that I discovered recently about moth’s, I’m not fond about moth’s but I found out that there a pink colour moth’s in UK and there’s a type of moth that looks like a humming-bird… it is stunning. Sorry just a little fun fact about it 🥰
Oh wow! That's so cool! I've actually never really given much thought about moths. I just had this paper and thought it was pretty. I did do a moth theme in my reading journal in February of last year so maybe I secretly do like them...😂
