It's always the things that seem so simple that are the hardest to perfect. I totally get it! I'll try to slow down the footage a bit in my next video so you can get a better look of how I do them. 😁

I’ve found that most books that are wildly popular usually end up on my most disappointing list. I’ve steered away from reading others views on books until I’ve finished them so it doesn’t overexcite me before I’ve dived in.
Yeah, I made the mistake of thinking since there is a movie coming out, that meant the book would be pretty good...I was wrong. 🤣
ok - funny story here from a self professed perfectionist - I was comparing myself journal to yours - which I know is not the best thing to do. I took a picture of my finished monthly and looked at - AND - I go so excited it looks pretty dong good!. I followed your layout but used different colors. Thank you for begin such a good teacher!

Do you have a video where you talk about all the different journals you have, and how you use them all throughout each month? Or flip throughs after the month to see how you used all your spreads? I'd be interested to see that!
I only have a flip through of my 2020 journals. I will try to film a flip through of my current journals at the end of the year.

Absolutely gorgeous and yet oh so simplistic, Tracy! I adore this spread, and I will never stop being amazed at the creativity some journalers have! I'm currently stuck on trying to figure out how to design the cover pages for my early 2022 months since I have only found out about book bujo since May...

Your Lore and Shadow & Bones video is what got me back into reading and keeping a reading journal so I'm sad to hear about your hand issue, and I hope it gets better soon. I'm so looking forward to seeing your new way of doing book spreads! Also idk if you've seen the Butterfly washi set from Notebook therapy but i feel like you'd love it. I'm currently obsessed with it.
