Korean Air business class is not the fanciest-looking or the most privacy business class seat out there, but to me it looks really comfortable and I like it.
I just took a short hop from ICN to NRT on a Korean Air 747. In economy, but a super comfortable seat (much nicer than the UA 777 I just got off), and a tasty meal served on the relatively short flight. I would seriously look at them for a long haul flight.
You definitely should! I’m a bit backlogged on videos at the moment, but I’m eventually going to be posting a video of what it was like to fly on a Korean air 747 from Singapore to Atlanta (with a connection in Seoul). It was really good - and lots of fun.
I had the A380b business class experience. It was really, really good. 14-hour flight between ICN and JFK. The crew on that flight was amazing as well. I wouldn't hesitate to book it again.
Its because of those dental chair! If they revamped and get rid of those dental chairs then kair will be unstoppable easily kicking the top tier airlines right now
Ahh they have actually changed the menu, extra additions compared to the old menu they have used for nearly 2 years. At least your seat and surroundings looked newer or refurbished, seems Korean Air has let some succumb to wear and tear which is a shame.
Apex suites are severely underrated. I love Korean air Apex suites. I tried it on the same 777 during the tail end of Covid coming back from Korea to LAX.
Asia is ultra competitive in terms of premium cabins, JAL, ANA, Cathay, Starlux, Singapore, really can shine. So 1) ICN is an ok airport, it's quite a distance from the city, 2) Bibimbap has been a staple for at least a decade and a half, and when the western option is "meh", then you can bored fairly quickly. Also Bibimbap is more comfort food, akin to a burger - what about some Galbi..or anything else Korean..so for business class or first...it's underwhelming. The lounges are also underwhelming. Happy that the service sounded exceptional, but if you are going to get exceptional service, you can expect it as a norm among the Asian carriers.
Love your trip reports! By the way, when are you going to upload your Korean Air flight report from Seoul Incheon to Atlanta? Just curious, because I am looking forward to seeing that report on your TH-cam channel.
Thanks! I’ve got three more videos to post before that one. And to be honest that’s the one I’m really looking forward to as well. It was a really fun flight.
I believe it has to be how predictably limited the food is… Their food basically never changes. The drinks are normal at best… Service wise, they are consistent but robotic. The lounge is adequate but nothing special. They shine with the hard product and their airport…
These apex suites are great and KAL will come out with their updated Prestige Suites 2.0 sometimes soon, but there seems to be a rise in the really old sleeper prestige products next year for whatever reason, most likely due to retrofitting the newer products? Anyway, KAL is incredible in terms of service but their hard products has always been slightly...lacking. When we have the competitive JAL coming out with their incredible new A350 products, KAL def has some catching up to do
TIL KA has two versions of prestige class on their 777-300ER plane. I"m watching this video and was thinking, hey I flew this exact KE41 flight a month ago and my prestige seat looked NOTHING like what's on this video. It turns out I got the older "prestige sleeper" seat instead of your Kosmo Suite. My layout was a 2-3-2 and the seats were pretty bad for a business class seat in 2024. It was more or less like a domestic / alaska airlines first class seat that could lay flat but not comfortably lay flat. There was a poor attempt at a divider between the seats, but it didn't really create any privacy. I would never want to fly this product again. I wouldn't mind doing this flight with the suite you had though!
@@iFlyTheWorld When I learned that the amphib landings happened right there, I thought it would make a great Twilight Zone episode to have the troops arrive in a fog, embark on landings and arrive at the airport. Chaos and hilarity ensues.
I’m sorry but I had to check-wasn’t the STA 10:50 AM? FlightRadar24 says you got to the gate at 10:53 AM, so 3 minutes late, not 53 minutes late. Was there a different STA on that day?
Good catch! I must’ve confused this flight for a different one, because you are correct - it arrived in Seattle close to on time. I just checked the Flighty App, and it shows a gate arrival of 11:02 AM (which is 12 minutes late). Not sure why I was thinking it arrived so late. My only excuse is that I’m getting old and it’s getting hard to remember these things. 😄
Genuine question: why did you blur your QR code on your BP? You’ve already taken the flight and those QR codes are not readable by a device without the proper software…it’s unnecessary?
Just being paranoid that’s all. You’re right that I probably don’t even need to do it, but I have no idea what kind of data can be obtained by scanning those codes.
Have you flown this route in economy lately? I have flown ICN to LAX 3 times a year for the last years. The food is awful. The cabin on the A380 is bad(slow and at times non responsive IFE, really bad food and small number of toilets for 300 people). Terminal 2 sucks and only place to get a beer is at a lounge. Of course all the lounges were full.
@sanspotter Disagree. Best airport has been Changi. It has just about everything for a short or long layover. Nothiing worst then 8 or more hours at ICN. ICN Terminnal 2 is strictly Korean Air and everything is geared toward the pay lounges (they are usually full) and duty free shopping. One has to like Korean food because other food options are very limited. The two convenience stores (CU and GS 25) are located at opposite ends of the terminnal and are very small. The 7-11 closed a year ago. Lastly one has to love "French Style" cafes because there are many of them in the terminal. I have one more trip that connects at ICN Terminnal 2 because mercifully I have used all of my Korean Air miles. I am going with EVA, China Airliines or Starlux next.
I've flown three times now in Korean Air Business Class. Absolutely superb. Best flights I've ever experienced. 👍
Totally agree! They’re extremely underrated in my opinion.
For this product the offer you think it's superb? Also the price tag not to mention.
@@Sp3ll633Superb than most of the Americans and Europeans. But not at the same level with Middle east carriers tho.
I am getting on that flight next week, also business class, this is very good information
I like your humor.. you are my favorite airlines review youtuber...
Thanks! 🙏🏻
I've seen others YT channels of course but your channel hits differently in a good way. NGL I put your playlist on repeat and go to sleep with it lol
So basically what you’re saying is my content is boring AF? 😄 In all seriousness, thanks for your support!
It’s so interesting to see how the terminals, planes and even food is so different around the world! Great video again, as usual!
Thanks! Yeah, it’s always a little different in each place.

Incheon T2 is one of my favorite places to have a layover. Beautiful, bright, comfortable.
Really love your style of videos.
Always the coolest reviews.
Thanks so much!
Hi Scott really enjoy your video trip reports keep them coming
I had the A380b business class experience. It was really, really good. 14-hour flight between ICN and JFK. The crew on that flight was amazing as well. I wouldn't hesitate to book it again.
The only thing I don’t like about the A380 experience is the lack of seat privacy. The 777 and 747 are very good though.
Its because of those dental chair! If they revamped and get rid of those dental chairs then kair will be unstoppable easily kicking the top tier airlines right now
Right now Virgin Atlantic (newer) and Starlux seem to have the best Business Class.
Looks like a solid business class product!
You came to Seattle??? Yay!!
It was a brief layover, but fun. 😄 I always enjoy connecting at SEA.
Thnx Scott, great review and fun
You’re very welcome - glad you enjoyed it.
Excellent review Scott!
Thanks Ryan!
Looking forward to this review, usually fly Delta 1 to ICN, but the food has become quite bad.

Many thanks!

Totally agreed. They’re a little narrow, but pretty much perfect in every other way.
@@sanspotterthankfully I flew during covid where the inferior seat A380 was not in use.
Nah. I am 2m tall.
It feels very cramped in there. Not spacious at all
Thank you Scott. Greaty video

Something about you rubbing your feet together made me want that blanket. It looked comfy for sure. lol
That TV screen needs to be twice the size for the distance from the seat.
first, great vid too.
Thanks and thanks!
Who needs the creepy Tesla Robot when you can have IncheonBot serve you with a smile
IncheonBot > TeslaBot
Hey I am confuse is their business class called prestige?
Tried Prestige class twice. For the price they are charging combine with old seat and the same old bibimbap , I will not fly with them again.
Bibimbap same from economy class with just a nicer presentation. Cost of the meal 3 dollars.
It’s a very chic cabin
Douglas McArthur and a couple of thousand of his best friends landed at ICN back in the 1950's.
I think he might notice a few changes if he was alive 😂

I love Korean air but their prices are outrageous
How did the center divider go up/down?
There’s a button on the center console / armrest. I didn’t even know it was there - I had to ask the flight attendant how to do it.
Hot towels have been lacking on BA Club Europe recently. Is that a post covid thing?
Inchon having robot assistants. Any news of San Francisco getting ED-209’s?
I’d love to see it!
Sure beats economy class that I always fly.
It’s a little better than Sun County!

Seems the crew weren’t too proactive when it comes to cleaning the toilets tho … thanks for the video .. 🙏
Thanks for watching! I think the loo visit that I showed in the video was poorly timed - because they were pretty clean for most of the flight.

I heard some stuff, but we didn’t return to the gate so I guess it was OK. 😄

A Korean airline. Maybe we will get a decent chicken and rice meal review?
Close! It was beef and rice this time. Fear not though- there are more chicken and rice reviews coming…

Fly to Seattle, if it’s not Boeing I am not flying
They probably wouldn’t have even let us in if it was an Airbus. 😄
not a lounge person?
Their interiors need upgrading to Emirates standards.
I’m actually not a fan of Emirates to be honest. Their interiors are too over the top IMHO.
they operate as a family business. Monolithic and too difficult to change to modern market conditions.
you fly economy too😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 why fret over privacy
Because I’m introverted to the max. 😅
But that's not 777 300er you need your eyes testing !
