They literally pulled a hulk on boba, took an awesome and respected (and even feared in some cases) and made him a sad washed up shell of his former self

Pulled a hulk/Indiana Jones/Luke Skywalker/John halo/John Connor... They love doing that, come to think of it.

Boba having to lift his leg to shoot his knee rocket is like he's doing a Jojo pose.

Coming back after the Acolyte, I find it deeply strange that they decided to make what should have been morally gray [at best] characters such as Boba Fett and [I think the argument could be made for] Dinn Djarin, and just made them into bland generic heroes with very little nuance. Then they took Qimir and the twins in the Acolyte and said "Hey actually the Sith aren't that bad. It's the Jedi who are evil." like what the hell are we doing. We don't mind enjoying villains every once in a while, but being gaslit into thinking that objectively horrible people are actually good guys that we should cheer for is just baffling.

      >kills Osha's friend
      >"semantics"
So Acolyte tells me I can murder my friends' friend on the street after buying their groceries and when the police questions me I can just say "Oh officer, it was just semantics, I merely remove them from existence."

As we have our own perspectives, so do some people within Star Wars. From their point of view the Jedi are evil

Man, portraying the Tuskens, the same guys that kidnapoed, tortured and killed Anakin's mother as just misunderstood is... something allright. Somebody really felt the portrwyal of fictional villains needed revisionism.

Tuskens and Jawas are the natives of Tatooine before it was a desert. Then they went nuts and are just protecting their territory from invaders who kill them (they see everyone as invaders). But thanks to Mando, we can see a way to communicate with them (albeit limited)

That cope is AMAZING. The Jawa are capable of not murdering and torturing people...
The Tuskens? Apparently not so tough. Saying "boo hoo something bad happened to them literally thousands of years ago" as some kind of excuse is sociopathic

@@yagamifire7861Considering that the Tuskens are organising raiding parties and attacking farms, and kidnapping people for their own fun degenerate stuff, they aren't even in the right. Hell, Jabba is more a good guy than they are, and he's an overgrown slug in charge of an intergalactic crime ring that sells drugs, people and kill contracts.

When the helmet was full of money they missed a good opportunity when he gets ambushed to have him instinctively try to put the helmet on and dump a bunch of coins all over himself. At least then it would have had some sort of payoff.

@@Lobsterwithinternet what? I wasn't talking about the work. I was talking about the writer, as were they. You should absolutely judge a writer on their portfolio, especially recent entries.

@@CaptanF0rever But it doesn't matter who the guy was or what they did before.
They judged the episode on its own merits and found it was great compared to the rest of season 3. They weren't ‘kind’ to the writer. The guy could have written Biodome and they would still have the same reaction, as do I.

It was fun in this one imo. There are so many little mistakes in the show, so he reacting strongly to each one makes me laugh.
But then there is massive issues and he's just deflated from disappointment.

EFAP is so fucking nitpicky, holy shit, what exactly do they want from a TV show? Endless descriptions of every single scene?

    • @fly1ngG0PHER
      @fly1ngG0PHER 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +39

Pretty sure what they want is entertainment that, I don’t know, just doesn’t suck. I do not understand where this idea comes from that EFAP wants shows where characters literally explain everything they’re doing while looking straight at the camera, it’s pretty apparent to me at least that they just want whatever the entertainment companies sell us to make sense and be interesting and consistent, and enjoy pointing out everything that’s bad when they don’t. And be real, if this were actually good, there very likely wouldn’t be so incredibly many nits to pick (if you can even rate them as small issues). Every mistake can be learned from, if pointed out, just as pointing out every small detail a good show gets right is recognition of people who cared and put the work in; but in the case of this show, the writers accomplished the mighty feat of doing almost absolutely every little thing wrong and poorly, in addition to all the big things, hence the very long chain of complaints.

In the instance of the minis it is the removal of a majority of the sidebar conversations, intros and outros aswell as clipping out parts within the episodes for brevity. My intention is to give you the experience of watching all the episodes back to back in a fraction of the time.
