Hi Jaquie! I love your blog. I'm a veterinary student and enjoy watching how you train and work with Harlow! (Not to mention I am fascinated with all the medical stuff to treat your chronic illnesses. Plus I think you and Judd are adorable.) I did want to mention something that you might not be aware of that I noticed in this video. I saw Harlow and Orion chewing on what looked like antlers. If those are antlers, they are notorious for cracking teeth. I had a patient come in with titanium teeth recently from multiple cracked teeth from antlers. I know you take a lot of care with Harlow's health and would never do anything to harm her. Another thing not recommended would be bones. Those can crack the teeth too, but they can splinter or build up in the digestive track and cause a blockage. Anyway, I love watching your blog and hope you have a great day!

I can totally see why those girls did not come talk. My mom, my girls (one of which is a HUGE fan), and I are headed to Disney at the end of December, and we've wondered what we would do if we happened to run into you. We certainly wouldn't want to be a burden, yet we would want you to know - hey, we know who you are, we love you guys and what you are trying to do by spreading awareness, and we are real people out in the world pulling for you and going through similar situations. I bet those girls were just super excited to see you and say "hi" from a distance.

The DAS is going to be my best friend when I head down this weekend to visit my cast member boyfriend! Hoping I don't end up in a wheelchair (I usually rent at the park if I really need it... $12 isn't bad and it can be used in other parks once you get the paper for it).

Thanks for sharing the information about Disability services at Disney parks. I saw that they have a handheld device that has assistive listening capability as well as captioning and audio descriptions for specific attractions. I'm hard of hearing and wear hearing aids so this device will help me immensely.
I wish I lived near Disney.

Oh, my CJ shirt arrived, too and it is officially my fortnightly IVIg shirt as I don't need to stretch the neck for the nurses to access my port ... I'm in Australia and don't have any kind of home health care, it is all done by doctors and nurses in the hospital xx
Ok a few good things. 1) does Judd ever get recognized at work by fans? 2) Orion and Harlow are the cutest dog best friends. I didn't even notice where Harlow's back side was when they were sharing the bed but when I did...I busted out laughing it was so cute. 3) I get excited about gingerbread cookies and hot chocolate too! It's one of the hand full of "holiday" type treats I can eat. 4)Loved this vlog and as usual my husband loved Judd. Fingers crossed for the wheelchair wheels coming in this week :)

I understand why she is so cute and service dog always get noticed especially the cute ones. I'm actually going to see my dog in about two weeks she's been with my parents back in South Carolina getting medical attention for a couple things. Nothing major plus she's helping my mom who just broke her leg. She is good with noticing depression and anxiety and helping with both so she stays with my mom cause she's too old to work with me. We're hoping to get another dog for me by the new year and before the rest of my ekg tests and sleep tests.

All I want to say is good job getting enough calories down. I have a daughter ( 2 actually) who has EDS and in the process to see if she (11 year old) has gastroparises and getting those calories in are so hard!! And just how amazing your husband is, being a "care giver" (which I really don't like that term) can be so hard and y'all work very well together. I have learned so much from your vlogs as we are on this EDS journey too. And even started talking about service dogs for both my girls ( they are 3 and 11) at some point in their lives so they can live independently also.

Every time Harlow gets crazy and runs towards you, I’m afraid she’s going to knock you down. Maybe I’m like that cause my mom got her knee broken when our dog ran towards her.

I was watching Janiece's vlog, and got to the part of you guys talking about pizza. It made me wonder, since your upped rate of your feeds, have you been able to eat enough during the day to take a night off yet?
Well we ended up not getting pizza haha. Yesterday was the first day I *finally* ate enough to unhook at night! But with day feeds I still get a few hours break in the evening, even if I have to hook up at night, so I am thankful for that.

Ello. I love watching your vlogs every day, but I was wondering what you do if someone invites you to go to an all you can eat place. I feel a bit guilty, because I hardly eat anything, and I don't want to have them spend a lot of money on me if I'm not going to eat much. It isn't really medical related, but I pretty much have a really bad fear of the outside world, and don't feel safe eating outside of the house.
I just go but I do not always order. If I do order, I just eat what I can. If someone invites me out it is usually for my company, not based on how much I can eat! So that is what I focus on (:
Years ago my husband grew a beard and 'stash... It's a huge beard. I hated it and kept hinting he should shave. Finally he was forced to shave for work because he was going into a decommissioned nuclear lab and had to wear a respirator. He looked so weird with a cleanly shaven face I now prefer the beard!
I don't know how i feel about Judds mustache. I don't realy like the shape of it, but it kinda suits him, but it reminds me of that security gard in orange is the new black, but without it it's like somthing is missing!
