    Bro just dropping quality programming knowledge for free
    This kind of stuff took me ages to learn, understanding anatomy,biomechanics, physiology, so I really respect you helping others by putting this out.
    Quite frankly it deserves more views

    I just finished the video and I've got to say, I never really looked at the weights you were using in your videos. Maybe you think it's more important than it really is, and you're putting this pressure on yourself for nothing? Either way man, I don't think you have to prove anything, you clearly have a great understanding of how hypertrophy and strength training works, and look, there will always be stronger people, might as well not risk getting injured trying to impress people you don't know! I mean this in the most supportive way possible. Keep up the great work! I never thought I would finish a 38 minute youtube video as I have the attention span of a goldfish, but that was refreshingly interesting and fun to watch/listen, even though I'm already familiar with the principles of programming

    Great information! What are your thoughts on fiber specific frequency? If you did different movements on session B from what you did on session A, would you not be only hitting certain muscle fibres once a week? Or if similar fibres have been hit from both movements would the difference in stimulus play a role in your ability to benefit from 2x frequency for these fibres? Cheers 😊

    I was on UL 4x it's a goated split but I started doing reformer pilates with GF. It's fun and I like doing it with her plus I get some extra ab training and get to work on flexibility. I mainly look at it as recreational The issue is trying to program around it. Now obviously axing the pilates would be optimal for hypertrophy, but I'd rather just work around it. The sessions are full body but I don't want to count them as a hypertrophy day as they're likely not as stimulating as my regular gym sessions as I'm 3 years trained. So my solution for now is Upper Lower Full it hits everything twice per week. This way I'd get my hypertrophy training in and the pilates would be bonus stimulus. I'd be working out 4 days in total so plenty of time to recover. I wonder, is there a better way to program this?

    Could we run this through a 8 day microcycle? Where every training day is preceded and followed by a rest day? If yes, could we make a tiny bit of more work since every upper or lower session is separated by more days? Also, could we atrophy since every training upper session in this case is separated by 94 hrs?

    sup deklan, when you talk about weekly sets for a given muscle group for example in the range of 4-6, you're only counting direct sets or also fractional sets?
    Great video btw ❤

    instead of a single arm row could you do a neutral grip pulldown as another lat excercie, for example frontal plane pulldown on upper 1 and neutral grip pulldown on upper 2?

    Is it silly to do back on a L day to keep the volume more even between U and L? Otherwise, the U day is significantly longer than L day

  • @verbinneny
    @verbinneny 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Hey Deklan, I'm curious about your thoughts on this: I've been doing ULULURR for a couple of months. Feels good, but honestly motivation for L days is always lower, so I switched now to PUSH PULL R PUSH PULL R R. Push including quad, calves, and PULL including hamstring/glute work. It feels like a great solution, but maybe you have some insight that this may or may not be a good move?

    • @Dxklan
      @Dxklan  13 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      you can do that but it takes away from your upper sessions. i dont see the point really. might just have to bite the bullet and do UL R UL RR or FB x 3
