My LGS is giving out 2 extra playbooster packs for every purchase of 1 Pre kit to boost sales ($53 per kit). The best banger I have seen was someone pulling out Ulamog defiler (NF) reg and a Emrakul World Anew (F) retro border in 1 single pack....that's insane
Did I hear you say you can't play the promo in the event? I think for MH3 you can use your promo. It's not a special insert like some other recent pre-release kits have included.
You are correct. There is no big red line on the prerelease info telling you not to use them! My bad, I'm so used to seeing it on the normal prerelease.
If you ever been to a pre release in your life time. You will know that you can use your pre release promo. Also did you say it would cost over $80 to play at your pre release!!!
@@ozmtg I appreciate the update. I only buy the Japanese prints because the quality is so much better. From card stock to ink, the Japanese have us beat. Was hoping an expensive product like this WotC would’ve put some qc in place… oh well, cheers mates! Enjoy the prerelease events.
@@Madmatt79 typically the Japanese print the play boosters. I believe that commander decks, pre release kits, bundles and collector boxes are printed in the USA. When in doubt check the back of the booster pack, it will specify the country in which it was produced. It’s the pre release kits and bundles that have the worse printing. Art looks overly dark/contrast levels wrong. Looks muted compared to Japanese printing which are very vibrant.
You can definitely use prerelease card in your draft
Draft and pre-release are not the same.
Eldrazi and a fetch. Great kit.

Got lucky with my pre-release, got an Ulamog and a Phyrexian Tower
Spicy!

@@ozmtg pretty sure it was just March of the Machine.

To be fair, it wasn’t the case in some recent prereleases - MKM as an example.
You can not put wastes in your deck, unless you've pulled them, because they aren't technically a basic land.
so expensive to play in australia
Are these printed in the USA. If so, how does the print quality look?
They are indeed printed in the USA, they are still very washed out in the foil details and some small roller marks are visible.

@@weeklyweeks7545 How do you specifically get the Japanese prints? I would like to do that as well.
