Phil Tippett's critically acclaimed 2021 stop-motion animated horror film Mad God took 30 years to complete. A gas-masked assassin descends into a nightmarish underworld, encountering bizarre creatures and witnessing grotesque scenes. His mission, revealed to be the placement of a time bomb, is interrupted. The assassin is then subjected to a gruesome operation, his brain connected to a TV showing the cyclical nature of his journey. Ultimately, the infant larva extracted from him is transformed into gold, fueling the creation of a new cosmos, mirroring the destruction he was meant to trigger.

@@TheKompozitorOfficial my critique wasnt about the work it was about the darkness and just oddness of it all. we all imagin weird stuff or our brains have nightmares and go off script or halucinate but to put so much effort into visualizing it is just dark....its like a rape victim doing all they can to recreate the experience for people to see....to me its like wtf? and why? people put a lot of work into killing other people viciously, it doesn't make it right or saine.
